How could you tell the socks are pulled over the boots? Just looks like he's wearing socks the regular way to me. Relief is visible. It's also obvious that it folds over.

To anyone that has the figure, are the boots moulded in that color? I'm tempted to take acetone to the white paint when I get it.

I honestly don't care for this figure, but I think it would of looked better if they would of just painted his calves white. That's just me personally though.

a little surprised nobody has mentioned that they put ANOTHER figure in short boots when EVERY SINGLE PICTURE of Regal has him wearing longer boots.

The boots are cast in the maroon color correct? Turn them sum bitches upside down and use a q-tip with acetone and clean it off. Then all you have to do is get a small brush/tooth pick and paint a couple of the laces white again. I realize this is fairly easy, but I shouldn't have to do it. This is Jakks level cost-cutting.

Looks good in my opinion, are the kneepads the new softer style?

And to add to the topic, I like and plan on getting the Regal but I'm also realistic and completely understand why MattelDesignTeam went with the boots the way they did. There's no way they were going to tool new boots for a figure that would only use them once on a figure that casual fans might not pick up. All us old school fans will pick it up? I know I will but for those old school fans who won't pick it up because of the boots are exactly the reason why MDT went the way they did and they only justified MDTs decision.

Here's proof of the sock folds. It looks weird, but it is intentional and not a botch, although it could've been executed better it's not gonna stop me from buying it. My only question is why Regal is busting out those moves? Is he teaming with Alex Wright? Not comparable to Alex wrights dance moves. Alex wrights dance was excellent.

I have no idea what you were trying to say. But how hard would it have been to just paint the socks on his calves like they usually do regardless of if he wore them "folded over" or not? It looks worse this way, and I very much doubt anyone would have complained saying "oh, they should have just painted the top of the boots white!"

The reaction 'no because I think they're not broken' is not acceptable.

Don't use a high-tongued boot if you're just going to paint the top of the boot white to mimic the rolled sock. That would be like painting Emma's breasts silver to "blend in" with the bikini top and hoping nobody notices...oh wait...they did THAT TOO!!
