Besides Sandow being MiZs stunt double he sucked. On TNA, sucks. EC3 nor the Kenny Omega would've ever happened under WWEs umbrella. Those guys needed to get away so THEY can actually invent themselves. Missed opportunities, Solomon Crowe, not calling up Chris Hero sooner. Nexus. Guys like Alex Riley, Zack Ryder being over but politics getting in the way.

2 off the top of my head..
Rick Rude/Mr. Perfect never getting a WWF Title run and cutting the Lex Luger Narcissist gimmick short when it had potential.

The Ricky Steamboat/Randy Savage rematch at WM4. They should have had Steamboat defeat Valentine and then go onto the next round. Where we would have seen one of the greatest rematches of all time. Let them go 14 of the 15 minute time limit and let Randy Savage get a clean pin-fall over Steamboat. That way we get a great rematch. Savage gets his revenge win. Everyone benefits.
Jump way ahead, I think the WWE missed the opportunity with the Wyatt's/Kane feud. When Bray defeated Kane and Kane was "kidnapped", they should have had a revamped Kane debut weeks later with a whole new look and be part of the Wyatt's. Something more evil than any prior version of Kane. Instead he came back as the same old Kane. Did nothing. And then became part of the Corporation. Boring and safe.
Speaking of the Wyatt's... the night that Kane booked the Usos vs Bray & Bryan in the cage. I would have had the match start off with Kane locking the cage himself. As soon as he did, I would have had the Usos jump out of the cage. And then have Bryan unleash the holy hell on Bray. Usos stand there and fight off Rowan/Harper. That way Kane gets his revenge and Bryan turns on Bray making the whole thing seem like a long planned out sabotage. Instead the only reason Bryan attacked Bray was because Bray belittled him after the match. Poor booking IMO.

I think THE Brian Kendrick was one of the best gimmicks.. I believe WWE didn't maximize this to its fullest.
Kendrick could have become the next mega heel.

Randy Savage should of won the Rumble in 93 and went on to have a classic with Bret Hart at WM 9.

Easily the mishandling of CM Punk after he returned from walking out with the title. Not a shred of doubt in my mind that they could have had a Steve Austin like character and era again in WWE, but they bungled it so badly.
The Invasion storyline, while not bad, could have been better and I think they missed a huge opportunity to keep WCW around as a separate brand following it.
There were also a good handful of guys who deserved bigger pushes in the Hogan era.

Its hard to call any missed opportunity the biggest one but these are some of my pet peeves that they didn't strike while they had the chance
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn at Mania 32 Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan at Mania 8 Lesnar vs. Batista at Mania 30 Angle vs. Triple H or Austin vs. Triple H at Mania 18. Punk vs. Cena at Mania 27 Punk vs. Cena vs. Rock at Mania 29 Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar at any PPV An Edge vs. Christian feud over the World Title somewhere between 2009 and 2011 Straight Edge Society Nexus RVD as WWF or WCW Champ in 2001 / Early 2002 Dolph Ziggler as World Champion in 2013 Face Cody Rhodes in 2013 Face Ryback in 2012 Bray Wyatt
Im sure I could think of more but its late...
