No, I understood what you were referring to. I just don't understand what kind of a sentence that was or what that has to to with this. One has nothing to do with the other... in any way. It is starting to appear as if you have a wall full of reply's. And you just type whatever the dart lands on. He should've just edited his sentence. |

I think what's happening with the women on Raw is pretty classic WWE. They just kinda half ass it but really TELL you over and over how good it is and what it means. In reality you got 2 girls with a hell of a lot of hype (over hype from what I've seen) wrestling each other forever while everyone yells about "progress!".
It's been said but what Smackdown is doing right now feels better and move organic. I'm a Smackdown only guy though so idk my view is probably a little skewed.

Guess I'm in the minority here. The Sasha/Charlotte angle feels way more important than anything Smackdown has done with their women. The rest of Raw is an absolute trainwreck, but I actually take the time to go back and watch the Sasha/Charlotte stuff. It's not ground breaking or even excellent, but by and large, it's enjoyable, and Charlotte is really coming into her own. The other ladies will get their shot, it's a cyclical business and they don't have the roster depth to not spread the wealth eventually.
I also can't even fathom the idea that some people wanted Bayley to be shot right into a title win. That is so immensely counterproductive to her character, it's asinine. The reason she got over the way the way she did in NXT was because they took the fans on a really believable journey. She's the underdog. If she wins the title right away, that image is shattered and you've created just another face in the women's division. I'm not defending the overall way they've handled her in general since her call up, but not putting the title on her is absolutely the right thing.

Someone needs to remind Mick Foley that he couldn't hang with The Rock or Steve Austin, and that it took him falling off a Cell twice to get any real respect from the inner workings of the WWE. Summer Rae can go. I watched her wrestle Natalya once on Superstars about 6 months ago, and it was like a 10 minute match that was actually quite entertaining. The WWE is too concerned with pushing "Horsewomen" and I am not sure why. Nothing they do is any different from the likes of Natalya, Nikki, Carmella, Summer or the rest. Its just the WWE puts time and effort into those girls, and not the rest. And how many people switched off Nitro when Foley won the title?? Also unlike The Rock and Austin Foley had a legacy that started long before WWE. If he wore different clothes he became a different person and he had some of the craziest entertaining matches of all time so no he did t need to fall of the cell to earn respect, he had done it long before that. Bare in mind aswell that if Shawn Michaels never got injured The Rock would've got nowhere near the title. ' I switched because I was compelled by the story. Ugly wrestler who doesn't fit the corporate mold being told he could not be the face of the company. I get behind underdogs like that. Same thing happened with Daniel Bryan. Now, Mick Foley had charisma via the cheap pop, but he couldn't hang like Bryan could. The only difference between Daniel Bryan's rise and Mick Foley's rise is that once the storyline ended, I genuinely still cared for Bryan as he could actually wrestle and hang. I respect Mick and liked his contributions, but his subsequent use and retirement following his run had no effect on me. I didn't even notice he retired that's how little I cared for him after the storyline. You don't need to hang to be utilized, and even so, how is Mick the judge on this? |

I think both "brands" are doing good jobs with their women's divisions, just in different ways. Raw has the better star power with actual main event potential women, while Smackdown has done a good job building up the entire division and helping to get lesser talents on equal footing with the better workers/bigger stars. I'd much rather all the women wrestlers be exclusive to one show, but they're doing a good job as is. Not sure why the fan felt the need to post private messages. Definitely a dick move to post a private conversation just because you disagree with Foley's take.

I thought this was a discussion with a WWE writer or something at first, not a fan, it's an odd conversation to see and Foley seems to have quite an ego there. Not sure what to make of this, but the Raw women's division is so weak right now outside of Sasha, Charlotte and friends. Nia Jax is directionless and hasn't been seen since Clash of Champions and the rest of the women aren't considered to be "able to hang" which is atrocious. Mick Foley Felled off the cell for you ungreatful fans. Mankind should go back to TNA where he would be appreciated Mick Foley died for our sins. |

Kind of see Foley's point. While Smackdown is using all of their talent, none of their female talent is main-event worthy. Charlotte and Sasha are over-used at this point and the feud has run its course but they are the only headline talent to emerge so far.

I think it was a d**k move for the fan to post the DM's online. Foley was considerate enough to share his time with a fan and that is the thanks he gets. Personally, I've been enjoying the Sasha/Charlotte feud. But after HITC, they need to be split up for awhile. They need to let Sasha go heel and push Bayley as the top face. Too much chemistry there not to take advantage IMO. This coming from the that told. The fans to kiss his ass after clash of champions. Huh? Your poor sentence structure is very reminiscent of Cam89. Foley is one of those pseudo nice people. Constantly puts on this nice teddy bear image but in reality is a narcissist. And before I get angry replies from his fans, yes I've formed this opinion from being around him several times as well as his actions online. I think you just defined the word cheekiness. |

Sorry but that's rubbish. I've never watched a Total Divas episode in my life and I will say that I enjoy the Smackdown Diva's more then Sasha and Charlotte. I like Charlotte but she is the daughter of one of the most famous wrestlers in the world so that will always be a huge deal. Sasha Banks has a fanbase that overrates her and she's almost ready to overtake Sin Cara with botches so outside of her fans she's nothing special. |

SD has not only gotten Carmella a reaction from the fans, but actually over with them. To me that's bigger than Sasha/Charlotte for the nineteenth time. SD has two legit women's feuds going on right now that involve Carmella, Naomi, and Alexa of all people yet Raw can't figure out anything for Bayley to do.
