Say what you will about the intelligence of Ryback, this is actually kind of a clever idea.

Ryback never had the charisma or mic skills. They should have just pushed him as an ass kicker cuz he always had a good look yeah I liked him when he didn't talk.

That would be a terrible idea to let him take 6 months off. That would have not been fair to anyone else! Brock vs Ryback would not be an interesting match anyway.

I never liked Ryback, and this proves he's a dork.

Say what you will about the intelligence of Ryback, this is actually kind of a clever idea. the best part is everyone was saying the same thing about WWE being out of touch. but now that AJ Styles and Kevin Owens are world champs and other indy darlings. Are holding top spots those same people are clamming WWE is the best it's ever been. But come WrestleMania when the two world tile matches are Roman vs Brock and John Cena vs Baron Corbin. And the indy guys are in mid card matches they will change their tune again, WHAT does that have to do with what Smurf said? Do you even read comments before quoting them? Stop spamming threads with horses*** comments.

"Here's an idea Vince, I take a six month vacation and you book me in the main event against the biggest star in the company, at the biggest show of the year."
Yeah... I can't imagine why Vince would refuse that proposition.
In all seriousness, I liked Ryback a lot and thought a match with him and Brock would be massive if booked right. But its things like this that kinda show why he didn't make it as a huge star in WWE. His best run was in 2012, when he didn't talk much and didn't wear colourful singlets. He looked like The Punisher or some crap and it was cool. But WWE dropped the ball on it by not having him end Punk's reign. After the heel turn with Cena, it was all downhill from there. I still can't believe they jobbed him out to Kalisto though. That was completely unbelievable... And I like Kalisto.

It wouldn't work for two reasons:
1. Ryback hasn't been over in years. 2. It would leak that he was not legit training for MMA.

I still can't figure out why they didn't put him over at Hell in a Cell 2012. I remember being so pumped for Ryback to pin Punk and become champ.
Nope, stupid referee angle.

I still can't figure out why they didn't put him over at Hell in a Cell 2012. Because they felt the record-breaking title reign was needed to make Punk look credible against The Rock a few months later. They didn't have faith in Punk without that. Maybe they were right, but it definitely killed Ryback. Although ultimately, the sacrifice of Ryback that night and for the next six months ended up going a long way to making the Shield guys. Because he was already dead, he never got his revenge on them, and that helped them look very strong as a group.

This wouldn't be a good idea for him. If he faces Brock we all know he would lose and that there would be now feud to go foward. That would def hurt his (trying to be) tough character. Just like how Bray Wyatts character slowed down after his match against Undertaker. After that match he was a little lost in the mix since they didn't didn't have anything planned for him after.
