HBK is retired, and it will never happen. he is one of the few retired guys that I truly beleive will never wrestle again

Would we all have loved to see it? Absolutely. HBK is my all time favourite performer.
Will we see it? Definitely not. HBK is serious about his retirement and I don't think he's going to risk sullying his perfect send off in 2010 for the sake of a comeback. There will always be incredible wrestlers that debut on the roster who we wish we could see in the ring with someone like Michaels, Angle, Austin etc. But we need to move on and respect that sometimes the timelines just don't line up.

HBK has said that he wants to stay retired. But I could see him doing a one off match one day maybe. And I think someone like Styles could drag him outta retirement for one night only.

Likely not happening but cool to think of what it could be like.
Say AJ vs Cena is set for the Rumble. Styles verbally attacks HBK, who is in he crowd, before the match. Cena ends up winning the title and AJ attacks HBK after he sees Michaels laughing at him.
We then have Cena/Ambrose and AJ/Michaels set for WM.
Not happening but would be cool.

I am not a fan of this we are supposed to believe 51 Shawn Michales. can keep up with AJ Styles. That would be like the NBA trying to sell Michael Jordan can keep up with Lebron James.

I would not be mad at HBK in the slightest if he were to come out of retirement for one more match and it was against AJ

I believe HBK can still go at 51. Dude is still in great shape, and I think he can put on a decent match with AJ.
Do I think it will happen? No, probably not
But in this day and age. never say never.

Retirement doesn't exist in wrestling. If HBK can still go he would be crazy to let a fake retirement from a scripted storyline in 2010 stop him.
However not at the Rumble though WM would be better.

It would be amazing but for his legacy and being the only guy to stick to his word, I hope he remains retired .... and he is my fave of all time.

If WWE is willing to pay him a lot of cash than I can see Shawn coming back for one more match and AJ Styles would be the perfect guy to have one last match with.

If HBK didn't come back to face Bryan, he wouldn't come back for AJ

Would love to see it, but I don't think it will happen. I do however see HBK being a special guest referee for one of the title matches that night.

The Rock came back, Brock Lesnar came back, Golberg is back. I'm learning to never say never in WWE.
