It seems like the 1st Macho sculpt is way over used and imo Macho should have way more sculpts than he currently has.
My theory is Mattel uses that head so much, because the cowboy hats, bandanas, and sunglasses all fit that mold. If they made a new head that would require accessories they would either have to make the sculpt the same size or they would have to make a new hat, bandana, sunglasses mold for him.
we got the e23 sculpt once and I think the nwo rsc ex was only used once (I remember begging for rsc to use that head on an exclusive, as we saw a proto of that head way before they used it).
Mattel has been making Macho since 2010...one of the greatest of all time...we need a plethora of sculpts! Anyone else things my theory could be the reason?

The bandanna doesn't sit right on the scan with teeth. And none of his stuff works with '92 sculpt. I think we might be stuck with these 3 scans forever  |

It's funny you mention this.
I recently got the Mania 7 Savage DM, the HOF Macho King as well. Before that I only had the E44 Ultimate Maniacs Savage and the heads are all fairly similar. As in same sculpts with a few small changes. I think that's why his figs seem to have the sunglasses practically attached to them.
I'm with you though, they should have more sculpts for Savage of all people though.

I so prefer the teeth sculpt over the first one used. They need to make a hat and sunglasses that fit on the e23 head

The NWO Macho Man head came with the T-shirt Savage figure, and the Wrestlemania Heritage Savage figure as well. |

the nwo/basic wm5 teeth gritting scan is serviceable , the DM/constantly-used first scan needs to be retired and trashed.
Macho needs new intense scans. I am lookin fwd to the new '99 team madness era scan tho and wouldnt mind seeing that with brown hair.
but seriously mattel has dropped the ball with Macho in the likeness dept

The scan used the most really doesn't look like him. The closest scan to his actual face is the teeth one
