(fingers crossed) Eddie looks weird and unproportioned, but i want the LWO shirt and I am sure we can use the body for a fix up of someone else, Hall's head is really cool finally another scan, Nash mehhhh and Larry Z is a must! I really wish Mattel made as many sets as Jakks did. I don't know how Jakks got away with making so many of them. Jakks got away with it cause they used the same bodies for 90% of the figs...

I hope this isn't released as I'd feel obliged to buy it for Larry but don't want/need the rest. I'd rather not have Larry at all than to feel forced to buy 2 figures I already have in basic and another I don't want at all. Plus I hate street attire figures, and even more in elite form

Whatever gets me Larry ,I'll happily buy. Its time Mattel took a trip to Larry Land! I'd like an Eddie street gear figure, but that pic makes it look like his porportions are totally out of whack. Hall and Nash are ok enough i guess.......but make no mistake, I'd really be buying this set for the "Living Legend".

I think I may have quit on Mattel. HAve not purchased any since the Sting GAB was so poorly done. But this actually interests me since these guys were a big part of my childhood.

The only one in the set I had no interest in is the Eddie. I hate that pants mold.

Terrible idea to be honest. 50 bucks for street gear figures?! Meh. I wouldn't mind this pack if it had
DDP in jeans or another variation of DDP's attire WCW Halloween havoc Bret '98 Sting with shoulder strap singlet Billy Kidman

Don't mean to double post but I just had a thought, why can't they just make a WCW 2 or 4 pack and give us everybody in their best WCW attires under contract of course. Like a Halloween Havoc 4 pack released on Halloween would be amazing. More creativity would go a long way.

Hall and Nash have jeans that are still too dark.
And Eddy's jeans just look dumb. For all the things Mattel does right, it still gets some stuff wrong. Like jeans!
And the other figure is that colossal turd Larry Zbysko! I always hated him, badmouthing the nWo like he mattered. What a jerk! I can't believe people cheered for the guy! (Honestly, he did seem to be a real life jerk, a cranky old egomaniac. He added nothing to those show except bitterness.)
But I would still buy this if I ever saw it. For $50 or $20 or whatever price I find it at. I've only seen the Heenans once, and I consider myself lucky. WTF is Mattel doing these days?

I like the Larry. The rest are passes, albeit, they look great. I have about 15 of those LWO shirts coming in, so selfishly, I'm hoping they are canceled. Why, so you can something that other people don't have? What are you, like 5 years old? And how many guys do you need LWO shirts for? Isn't Eddy the only one with a figure?

Thats more like a WCW Monday Nitro set than it is a NWO set. Scott Hall is the only one I would be interested in. 1) Agreed. Never understood why some think this is a nWo set since Larry Land was never affiliated with the nWo. 2) To answer someone else's question about Nash. My guess is that even if this is an nWo set, they wanted to try and represent all the variations. Hence, the nWo black and white/Hollywood Hall, the Wolfpac Nash, the Latino World Order Guerrero. Not sure if it's worth it. Althought it would be the first Eddie I'd actually want. Larry fought bischoff at starrcade 97

I'm very glad some actual studio protos were made. We don't see too many unreleased things from Mattel that get that far.
Hope it stays scrapped, to be honest. When it comes to street gear figures, the Basic style figures suffice. Just give us another ring gear Nash with that scan and Hall in his black/red gear, and we're good. Eddie in jeans is not exactly a priority when there's still early WCW/ECW days Eddie to do. And as far as Larry Z goes, I wish he'd sell on his own, but that seems like a huge risk after The Great Tito Incident of 2015.
Still hoping they wind up scrapping the HOF theme and just do fun themed sets (In Your House, 80s legends, Attitude Era, WCW Nitro, etc.) that have nothing to do with the HOF.

if you click on that link for the catalogue, and you click on them, you will notice it re-directs you to the 4 Horsemen pack.

...I just wish they'd hurry up and make a red & black Scott Hall figure already (while they can!)...

...I just wish they'd hurry up and make a red & black Scott Hall figure already (while they can!)... Yeh and with a serious/mean looking headscan for a change. Sick of only ever getting smiling Halls. They made it that way to represent the different "world orders" Hall represents nWo Hollywood Nash represents nWo wolfpac Guerrero represents LWo Larry represents WCW I guessed someone would say this but when you think of WCW and which wrestlers represent the brand you think of Sting, Goldberg, DDP, Ric Flair, etc. Not taking away from Larry Z's talent but he is nowhere near to synonomous with WCW as a brand. I get why they went with the jeans and t-shirt to save on cost but wouldn't have been just as cheap to do debut invading Nitro Hall with jeans and a denim vest (repaint Harper cutoff flannel)? That is an excellent idea for a figure. A WCW debut Hall in denim (and personally I'd like a new serious/mean headscan too - not smiling) would be awesome to see.

Unfortunately, the DPCI number (087-06-3521) matches the Four Horsemen 4-pack. Well, so did the Heenan pack, so it's not entirely unexpected?

I think people are forgetting that this series limits Mattel to only using Hall of Famers so guys like DDP, Goldberg, etc could not have been used. Plus since they have to budget it to give you 4 elite figures for $12.50 each these figures cant have a lot of deco and accessories. Thats why they picked who they did in the outfits we got. Limiting to WCW Nitro era guys, there aren't a lot more options. Can't do Hogan because he's not under contract. Cant do Warrior, Sting, or Savage with all the various paint they would require. Hennig and Heenan are unlikely since they were in the last 4 pack. Doubt they would put Arn or Flair in another 4 pack as well. That leaves DiBiase in a suit, ICON Piper, Duggan, Bret in street clothes (Starrcade 97?), nWo Dusty, Madusa, Ray Traylor in street gear.
