When I die, I'll be remembered on WFIGs for my beloved Jakks headswaps in the fix-up board. I really shook things up over there and I know, I know...they're world renowned and iconic pieces of art!

WWE doesn't know who that is so it won't happen.

Personally I don't have a problem with it. Not that I collect that line anyway.
But I could see people complaining about it.

Totally bad taste. Because they have family who are still mourning their passing. Hell my father passed 27 years ago, but there hasn't been a day since that I wasn't sad at some point during the day thinking about him. I don't know how I would react if I saw a figure of him as a rotting zombie/corpse. I agree

Depends on how you look at it I suppose, a lot of people are offended very easily in this day of age so, probably wouldn't be a good idea. I think this is a solid question though

I couldn't think of a more perfect way to release a figure of the ECW Zombie, than in the Zombie line ...
Here's your shot, Mattel

This was already a thread once. I made a Benoit joke.
The thing is, right now I don't see Mattel making any more Zombies, so it's really a moot point. If they did, I'd say they'd have more popular wrestlers on the roster to make than those who have died. Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Sin Cara and Asuka as Zombies would be somewhat tops on my list. Should Mattel choose characters not on WWE TV any more, I assume they would also choose wrestlers who are alive (like Edge), so I don't think this is a question which really needs to be answered because I feel like Mattel/WWE have enough options without even considering dead people.

I would not be offended. But in today's sensitive puss puss generation, yes it would be in bad taste.

Mattel wasting money on the zombie line of figures is in bad taste just in general! Totally agree. Not sure exactly who the target demographic is for these wastes of shelf space.

The figures would be approved by whomever estate of the deceased wrestler, so I would leave it up to them if its in bad taste or not....ect. If they sign off on it, then great. I for one would think its cool..... but the pathetic world we live in, people would have the need to complain about it.

I don't know how I would react if I saw a figure of him as a rotting zombie/corpse. That's why my only request is too be cremated, I don't want to be remembered as a decomposing body in a buried box. So your "zombie figure" would just be an urn?

If Hogan was fired, still hasn't returned, and erased temporarily because of PR over something he said in an unauthorized recording almost ten years before he even returned to the company there aren't going to be any Zombie Eddie Guerreros with toothbrushes sticking out of their necks, zombie Warriors with exploding heart actions, or Macho zombies filleted by a car door. Sorry, although it doesn't offend me it will offend a lot of people in this hypersensitive, PR-ruled world. For the record, I thought the idea of the Benoit Zombie battlepack was funny and also wasn't at all offended by the admittedly tasteless joke about Paige earlier in the thread.

I see it from both sides, but the overwhelming feeling is, what if you were, say, Andre the Giant's kid and you saw a 'zombie' of your dad in some kid's toy gimmick? I'd feel pretty crappy about it. I don't think it's worth the risk of offending anyone.
