Yeah...this was just a mistimed spot. That is true, but didn't Nakamura injure Joe at the last NXT Takeover show?? I just have a feeling that Vince may sour on Nakamura if that continues. Seeing him as a worker who is unsafe perhaps?? I wanna say Vince soured on Kaval cause of him injuring Ziggler with kicks. It was a dislocated jaw that Joe got at the end of their match. Sadly I could see Vince doing just that. Really, to me, it's not the case of an unsafe worker, it's more of Nakamura wrestling the majority of his career in the strong style, where you beat the hell out of eachother, and a small mis caculation by either guy can lead to this.

"I just popped your skull so hard your eye popped out. It's gross as crap." - Nakamura...probably.

I have a hard time believing Vince will sour on him. Look what Joe did to Tyson in his first match in the company. Became nXt champ. Much less serious, but look at what AJ did to Miz in one of his first matches. Current World champ. And yes, there's Seth Rollins' series of unfortunate events. He's still in the main event picture. None of that was malicious or careless, just like this. It's perfectly acceptable to not like something or someone with a big fan following, but I feel as though 'some' that aren't fans of guys like Nakamura jump at any and all things to try and derail their immense popularity.

I knew this was going to eventually happen. Nakamura is not a safe worker. I wouldn't be too shocked if Vince ended up souring on Nakamura in time. you didn't even know who he was before he joined. Stop talking about things you know nothing about. He's not a 'dangerous worker' just because he's Japanese. It's called strong style and it's still fake like the rest of the styles.

So are you able to show me the amount of injuries Mutoh, Okada, Tanahashi, Shibata, Takayama, Sakuraba, Styles, Omega, Anderson, Goto, Fale... Just to name a few of his opponents from NJPW. suffered from getting kicked by Nakamura?

From the video it kinda looks like it's more Austin's fault the way he spun right into his foot. Nakumara didn't look like he put a lot of force behind it. Either way, the result from it looks pretty damn painful.

It was supposed to be a standard roundhouse kick. But the timing was off because of Aries spin and the timing of the kick thrown. Just bad timing. I'm surprised there was that much damage done, the kick didn't look tremendously hard.
I'm literally shaking my head at the fact that alot of you just labled Shinsuke dangerous after one freak accident that was not entirely his fault. Saying he injured Joe is ludicrous because it was a part of the storyline. Y'all obviously got worked.

Except the timing was off because of Aries spin, so he ended up caught right in the eye. You don't have to get hit super hard, but getting the toe of a boot in your eye will produce nasty results.

He works snug but he knows what he's doing. He's never injured anybody I know of. I also wonder if Aries is going to work with that. He can't see anything in that eye. I'd imagine he'd be okay by takeover.

From what I can tell, most guys prefer it that way. They still need to tape Aries/Strong vs TM61 before Takeover, I'd give Aries off everything before that match, if he can work through that match. Since it's a tag he can probably work it as long as all the injury was a really bad black eye. By Takeover he should be 100%.

crap...
According to PWInsider, Aries reportedly suffered a large orbital fracture and is now ready to undergo surgery this week in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s set to be out of action until at least early 2017.

That sucks so much that Aries is out.
The only blessing may be, is that by the time he comes back, they may push him to be the NXT Champion. But I was really hoping for him and Roderick Strong to win the NXT Tag Titles too!
