After reading this thread I decided to catch up and wasn't disappointed. The Member berries are great.

This season has had almost nothing funny on it. It's interesting, but to say people who liked Star Wars Force Awakens are those who like Trump is crazy. I loved that movie but hate Trump.
It's like they are trying to make a point about something but don't really want to make a point about anything so it all comes across so meaningless. I don't know if Trey Parker doesn't believe in anything or just likes to crap on everything, but the show is really lacking the creativity and humor it used to have. It feels like it's lost sight of what made it awesome.

Honestly this weeks episode was THE best of the season thus far.
That was fantastic.

Wasn't a fan of this week's episode. It had its moments, but felt underwhelming.
As far as the season itself, it's been another great one. Memberberries, skankhunt42, the Gerald/Sheila stuff... so good.
They aren't claiming that people who like the Star Wars remake are Trump supporters at all. Not sure how anyone could come to that conclusion.

The point is not that people who liked Star Wars automatically like Trump... its that The Force Awakens was just a money-grab without anything original made to appeal to the masses, and Trump would just say whatever he thought people liked to appeal to the masses. There's not much more to it than that.

Personally, I'm loving this season. I did love the random episodes, but the continuous arc seasons have been good IMO

There's not much more to it than that. I agree, but the way they have gone about it is pretty lame. They are saying people are turning to nostalgia for their good times. That has been the case forever! Maybe Trey Parker is just getting old. I didn't think the Force Awakens was an unoriginal money-grab - I thought it was a lot of fun, which is definitely what Star Wars needed after the prequels were kind of dull and depressing (not that I didn't like them - but they had flaws.) And whatever feelings I have for Star Wars, I sure don't have any for Trump. I feel like everybody wants to hate on everything these days - where is the fun in that? I don't think their premise is a very good one, and it certainly doesn't warrant an entire season which just feels kind of uninspired and flat. Maybe they are swerving away from the nostalgia for old South Parks when they used to be sharp and funny - now they are just strange and rambling. I don't know that an entire season which is focused on complaining about JJ Abrams is what we needed. I do know I enjoyed SWFA way more than this season, no matter what the Member Berries have to say about it. And I certainly don't equate good memories of my youth with hating gays and Mexicans - though I am sure some people sadly do.

Loved this season. It wasn't as good as last season. But it was still good none the less.
Do wish there was more episodes though

The laughs really are few and far between...but satire can be like that sometimes...I still enjoy it.

I just wish, since so much of the season was about trolling, that the finale had been a standalone episode, not finishing any of the storylines. That would have been a beautiful troll job on their part

i wish the member berries thing had led to something more. seems they just cut that out for the last few episodes.
good wrap up, not a 10/10 season but still good entertainment.

I would like one more episode post-this storyline to be the season finale...
Regardless, another pretty good season.

I was hoping Cartman's storyline would pay off in the end. He had a really great build up, but to what? To ultimately realize women aren't funny? WOMP WOMP.
