The way WWE is at the moment It wouldn't surprise me for them to pull a Cesaro or Sami Zayn win Then having them jump to Smackdown
But I'd really hope for a call up like shinsuke nakamura or Samoa joe to come in strong with the win

Under Taker vs John Cena yeah because having a 51 year old vs a 39 year old. for the WWE tile at the biggest show of the year totally says New era. Under Taker would be a great WWE tile holder.

Try to convince Jericho to stay and give it to him. He deserves it he, has been the only thing worth watching on Raw.

I love putting WM cards together every year. I see two ways that WM33 can go:
Option A
WWE Championship Undertaker (c) vs. John Cena
WWE Universal Championship Roman Reigns (c) vs. Finn Balor
Triple H vs. Seth Rollins
Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar III
Big Show vs. Shaq (if that's still a thing)
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (or Samoa Joe)
Option B
John Cena vs. Undertaker
WWE Championship AJ Styles (c) vs. Randy Orton
WWE Universal Championship Roman Reigns (c) vs. Finn Balor
Triple H vs. Seth Rollins
Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar III
Big Show vs. Shaq (again...if that's still a thing)

Do you think there's a snowballs chance of James Ellsworth magically entering the Rumble next year?, I mean he does have a contract now & it will only continue to build on this Cinderella story that they've got going with him atm. I can somehow see him & maybe two other top guys making it to the final three at the end, the other two superstars will battle each other out & try to flip the other over the rope only for Ellsworth to flip them both out from behind with the fans eating it all up, he stands in the center of the ring with an ocean of "YES!.. YES!.. YES!" chants heard filling up in the arena only for one of the top heels to magically come out from hiding, sneak into the ring & quickly dispose of Ellsworth with a roar of boos shortly following.. an instant Seth Rollins CLASSIC. ;]
Pulling a classic Sandman who almost ended up being GM. of Raw back in 2007/08? only for the dastardly William Regal to crush the fans hopes & dreams..
It could happen. :l

It's going to be Cena or Roman. I have no doubt they'll be the final two in the match.

I still think either Bálor or a surprising debut of Nakamura is winning the Rumble, honestly. WrestleMania looks like: John Cena vs. The Undertaker Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar (I assume) Kevin Owens vs. Finn Bálor AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura ... you're welcome. How can you forget about Big Show vs Shaquille O Neal and HHH booking himself against whoever is generating the most buzz?

Nobody reliable is reporting it, but there is a rumor floating around that Braun and Roman could be going into a program with each other.
If it keeps Roman away from the title picture, I'm all for it.

If Braun Strowman wins the RR, I might never watch Raw again

But I wonder if let's say the winner of the 2017 Royal Rumble Match is a RAW superstar what if they jump shows to go to Smackdown to challenge for the WWE World Championship? Or vice versa what if the winner is a Smackdown superstar and they decide to jump shows to go to RAW to challenge for the WWE Universal Championship?

In kayfabe it wouldn't make sense for a wrestler to fight to the Universal title. If a wrestler won the rumble then surely they would want to fight the real world championship.

It seems unlikely, although I could see Finn Balor winning and then going to SmackDown to challenge AJ Styles. It seems a waste to do that feud without Gallows and Anderson involved though.

It's pretty evident that neither Lesnar or Goldberg will be winning the Rumble. As much as I'd love to see Lesnar eliminate Goldberg, destroy everybody and then go on to win, this has to now be a repeat of 2004. The question is, who eliminates who first? At this stage, I feel it's more needed for Lesnar to prove a point, so having him take out a good 10 or so people in record time before Goldberg comes down and eliminates him would make the most sense, as it would also allow Lesnar the heel card of going back in and taking him out and then beating him at ringside, while Goldberg claims the in-ring elimination over Brock. What I don't want to see however, is the two of them in the ring at the same time just having a finisher-off and taking out one person each at a time to prove a point to the other one. That would make everybody else look really weak. It's better for an angry Lesnar to single handedly take out people himself.
Anyhow, for me this reverts the winner back to either John Cena or the Undertaker. I would have thought though, with it being a larger scale event in the Alamodome, the Taker win would make the most sense. It literally all depends on if they're going to do Taker vs Cena for the Title.
If they're not going Taker vs Cena for the Title, then I think a Finn Balor return win or a Shinsuke Nakamura debut win are the only two viable options, with either winner heading to Smackdown to face AJ Styles for the WWE World Championship at Wrestlemania. I think they'll hold out the Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho Match for 'Mania, and if so should be blown up as late as possible.

Samoa Joe winning the rumble would great. WM could shape up nicely...
AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe - WWE Championship Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens - Universal Championship Seth Rollins vs Triple H Goldberg vs Lesnar John Cena vs Undertaker

Samoa Joe winning the 2017 Royal Rumble Match in his Rumble debut would be something especially since no superstar has won the Royal Rumble Match in their debut since 2003 when Brock did it in his first Rumble but honestly I can't see a first time Rumble winner happening as much as I would want it to happen I think the Royal Rumble Match will either be won by either Cena tying Austin's record by winning his 3rd Royal Rumble Match or Taker winning his 2nd Royal Rumble Match
But if they do crown a 1st time winner I see it being a returning Balor winning in his return in his Rumble debut
