Joe was always a heavy set guy eh? Not seen his upw stuff? Okay, this is a huge fallacy. Guys like Joe, Owens, and Bray are Endomorphs and have a large frame, which is why they aren't criticized. Their bodies distribute the weight more evenly. Brock and Rusev are examples of muscular Endomorphs. Hero is an Ectomorph and has a small/lean frame. Their bodies do not distribute weight evenly. Hero has a large abdomen, but the rest of him is lean. Supposedly, Triple H (according to him) is an example of a muscular Enctomorph. He looks weird at the weight he is at. He should either drop 20-30 lbs or not wear trunks. Also, Hero did at one point have a 6 pack.

It still makes me mad that CM Punk pitched the Shield with Hero in the Reigns spot, but Vince inserted (whatever Reigns' crappy nickname is this week).
That riot gear would have hid that weight perfectly.

Hero is amazing....I mean truly amazing. At 37 he is putting on 5 star matches and outworking guys in their early 20s. That being said....Chris Hero looks like he is easily over 350lbs and is in by FAR the worse shape of his wrestling life. Does it matter? Yes and no. For most, it would destroy their cardio. Hero defies the laws of nature. But it could affect how the mainstream WWE fan will take to him. Guys like Joe, Owens and Bray are not fair comparisons to Hero. Owens and Bray wear gear that help conceal some of their weight. They wear stuff that compliments their bodies and does not accentuate their guts. Joe is in NXT, a crowd more full of smart marks than casual fans. In addition, Joe wears baggy shorts and does not appear to be as big as Hero. I think Hero, if he is going to maintain this size, needs to revert back to his baggy pants and Hero sleeveless shirt. He cannot be wearing trunks that you can barely see the front since his gut is hanging over them. If the picture above is any indication, he's no where near that big. Just from the sizes Ive been, Ive had a bigger gut then he does and I was never over 300lbs. He is a couple inches taller then me though. At most Id give him maybe 290-295. 300 if he had an extra biscuit for breakfast. The last pic I saw of him, from this past weekend, Hero's gut covered the front design of his trunks. The one with Colt is probably a couple of months old if I remember correctly.

I wish they'd let him keep the Chris Hero name.

This makes me happy. Hero has had some serious quality matched the past 2 years. I want to see Hero/Cesaro tag on the main stage. I also want some Hero/Styles matches as well as Hero/Joe. I don't even care if home boy drops weight or not. He reminds me alot of Mike Awesome as far as having so much agility for a larger man.

Regarding his name... I've always liked the name Kassius Ohno. Odd but cool.

He's still just as good if not better than ever. Who gives a what he looks like.

If his gut is an issue, put him in a singlet or top. Problem solved.

I think he should go back to NXT, If he goes straight to the main roster now, I feel he will be lost in the shuffle. At least in NXT he can have some amazing matches (Hero vs Nakamura for the NXT title, I'm just saying ), and by 2017 summerslam, then bring him up.

NXT: Nakamura, Joe, Aries, Strong, Revival, Gargano, Ciampi, TM61, Lorcan, I'd even be down for a match against No Way Jose! Raw: Owens, Zayn, Jericho, Rollins, Reigns, Big E, Big Show, Strowman, Neville, Rusev, Sheamus, and a feud/partnership with Cesaro SD: Styles, Cena, Orton, Wyatt, Ambrose, Miz, Ziggler, American Alpha, I'd even be willing to watch him face Kane, Swagger, Rhyno, and Corbin. People will throw a lot of hate at him because of his weight, but he could have must see matches with everyone I listed. Even the C-listers.

Meltzer and several people in the know (at Voices of Wrestling). The tweet Hero sent out was in regards to returning as his old character in NXT.
