I want an IYH DX HBK, but it'd be a total joke if it were in the DM line on par with Mega Maniacs Warrior. Hey if it meant we get full entrance attire I'd gladly take it as a DM

The official release date is the date when the figure hits mass retail NOT some niche online store.
The only reason you can buy it now is because Ringside paid extra to get it in earlier, otherwise you wouldn't be able to buy it until it hit retail. As has already been mentioned, Mattel releases 4 DM's per year, Flair is the first DM of 2017.

Shinsuke is up for pre-order now with a Ringside availability of March. I wouldn't expect a pre-order to come after and then it be available before. Especially too since the figure has never been formally announced. Its just be sudo-confirmed with that WWE poll. Since we haven't had it announced, nor see a prototype of it, you can expect it after Shinsuke at the earliest. Judging by the number "DXJ51" for Charlotte being one higher than Shinsuke, I wouldn't expect Macho Man to be available for pre-order until Summer time at this point. DM Randy Savage has been on my radar since July 25th. It's certainly not new. Flair and Savage were supposed to go back-to-back, but obviously plans changed since the summer. DXJ48 - WWE Defining Moments Ric Flair Figure (UPC: 887961397727) DXJ49 - WWE Defining Moments Randy Savage Figure (UPC: 887961397505) (Nakamura is DXJ50; Charlotte is DXJ51, as you said) AHA! I knew I wasn't talking nonsense here! Thanks for the update here!

I can't even begin to explain how ashamed I would be if you guys actually spent money on "Santa Foley". It is beyond terrible. Better start prepping your neck and tongue for all of the head shaking and "tsk"ing you will be doing in a couple of months, because I will absolutely spend money on a Santa Foley. I'd buy any Foley, even one of those awful Zombie/Mutants if they made it. But then again, there's always one... I could see the promotion now, at Hell in a Cell 2017 they lower Santa Foley to the ring through the top of the cell, and he takes and a plate of milk and cookies and leaves a present, full of thumbtacks and barbwire as he goes back up to the catwalk.

So do we get Savage late next year, then? I was thinking they'd slot Dude Love there.
I do want that Wrestlemania Charlotte w/ Women's title, especially now with the DM Flair using the same material robe.
EDIT: Guys, DM always hits earlier than expected. The 2011 debut DMs of HBK/Savage were out at retail in late 2010 - I distinctly remember finding them at Target right before Christmas. They were technically 2010 figures, but they were recognized on a widespread scale as 2011 figures in Mattel's scheduling. I have to wonder if Savage signed that figure at all before he died, maybe for close friends of the family or something...that'd be a treasure to own.

I'm just speculating, but if most of the DM line are Hall of Famers, and the HoF line is getting a new Elite 2 pack wave, maybe they're getting their own DMs too, since the tentative DM line up here are modern characters?

It's crazy there's yet another elite Finn balor on the way. This one in particular is almost certainly featuring his attire from this past summer slam where he won the Universal title. Hopefully he even comes with the belt. That'll be a must buy for me.
Think about how many elites he'll have though. He had two in 2016, and including this summer slam fig, the RSC exclusive, and the toys r us exclusive that's due out, there'll be at least three in 2017.
5 or more elites in two years? Has John Cena even gotten that kind of treatment? Ok maybe Cena, but I can't think of anyone else right off the top of my head.
Don't get me wrong either. I hope before this is all said and done that Mattel makes every version of Finn Balor we see.

All of this news is great! But I'm on pins and needles wanting to know more about new the new toys r us network spotlight figures. I know we are due an undertaker, Finn Balor, and Vince McMahon but that's all due before Wrestlemania.

That Honky Tonk Man better come with a guitar. Also it better not replace Papa Shango because I need Papa Shango. I also need Honky Tonk Man but still. Don't piss me off. Jeff Jarrett would be proud of this post

You can't take away from the fact that Mattel releases 4 DMs per year, and we've already received 4 (Stone Cold, Sting, Warrior, Cena.) Its also exactly like how we'll get the new packaging series just before January. I just found Battle Pack 43 & Basic 67 in stores on Friday. They weren't packed on the shelves, but there was one case each as they start transitioning to the new series. Why would they release seven Battle Pack series a year with six being the 2016 packaging and the seventh being the 2017 packaging, especially when they release six Battle Pack waves per year? This happens every year we always get the first waves of the new year, just as the previous year ends. We go through the same thing each year. The stores all start out on a high and order the latest waves early or on time to ensure those waves are in stores when they should be, then we start slowing down by the Summer, we get clogged up until the Fall when things uncork and the process repeats. This is why the second set of Elites for 2017 is split into A & B to prevent the clog that would be heading into Summer.

But, packaging changes do not effect the DM line and if we consistently get 5 a in a year, it's incorrect to say it's only 4. When I loook at my collection and think about when I got them, I always recall the retail release not when people think they should come out. And I thoughtFlair was stated to be released around Survivor Series, 2016?

In regards to packaging changes, since the Ringside Exclusives for this year had two nWo figures in 2015 packaging for consistency, does that now mean that there were now five Ringside exclusives for 2015 and only one for 2016? We also don't get five in a year, we always get four, but they're always offset so that they're sitting in retail during the quarters they should be. Cena was the Survivor Series DM, but you can't see him...OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
