So sad the likes of Marty Scrull, Zack Sabre jr, and Will Osprey aren't involved.

I don't know who any of these people are, but I feel pretty bad for Neville. They have a great (although lacking in charisma) British talent in Neville...and a cruiserweight to book, and he can't even get on tv even though he'd qualify for both of these titles. I think the last time he was on the air was during Bo Phallus' aborted push. I think Bo beat Curtis Axel then Neville (Curtis Axel, there's some writing-on-the-wall company). Now Neville hasn't been seen since. They sign these talented guys, create tournaments and titles that would be perfect for them, and then just forget about them.

That title looks better than the two main titles in the WWE now, but do we really need another Championship in the WWE?

Then what? Will the championship be defended on the main roster? Will the competitors have their own show?

This is fantastic for wrestling fans and wrestlers.
My only complaint is that the title looks too much like the WWE Championship(s). If you're going to distinguish something as different, they should have made the design similar to the European Championship. Because the WWE Championship should be the #1 title, why are all these other belts looking exactly like it? Kind of takes away from the importance.
Question is...does this mean they are gonna sign another 15 guys? or is this strictly a UK thing? I'm really curious as to what is going to happen with this going forward....like, is Smackdown going to get a "UK Division"?
Also, to people who are already bitching about Neville not being in it......he's not in it for the same reason Kalisto wasn't in the CWC. Neville is an already established WWE Superstar. shoddy booking aside. This tournament/show is not meant for CURRENT guys. It's meant to showcase different talent, guys you've potentially never seen before.

Well at least the design looks much better than the Universal Championship.
I'm not sure if I'll watch or not though.

What i think could happen is that the title will be defended in the UK tours and they might just do more UK tours in the future for both WWE and NXT. Not sure if this will the result of this tournament, but i think it'd make the most sense to justify the championship since i honestly can't see the title being defended on TV on the main roster

More titles is unnecessary. The point of a cruiserweight champion I can see, but a U.K. championship? Why? So it can be defended just between wrestlers of the U.K.? It makes ZERO sense in my eyes. It's just another excuse for wwe to buy out ALL of the indie stars to hurt the indie scene like they've been trying to do for the past several months. They sign all of this talent and then don't know what the hell to do with them, just to make sure nobody else has them.

A U.K. Only show would be interesting
At first I was like another title really? But when I heard it's for a U.K. Only show that makes more sense. I'm excited to see where it goes.

So all I am gathering out of this is that the WWE eventually wants to become the old NWA and have titles in every country to call their own?? This seems like such an unneeded title belt. This is exactly what I was thinking when I heard about it. Never heard of any of them and until they explain it's purpose I don't see the point.

I wonder if WWE would be willing to have a promotion that runs solely in the UK. That's the only real reason they should be interested in this. If they're looking to expand as a global property, this is the next logical step. The crowd there would be absolutely rabid if they put out a good product, it'd put the spoiled Full Sail crowd to shame.
I really love the idea of international developmental type territories for WWE, but I'm sure Vince won't be down.

Honestly Pete Dunne and Trent Seven are the best names in the tournament.

Hmm.... yeah not bad, I suppose that's an improvement from the universal title, god I hate that belt, never going to warm to that title, hideous red colour with no meaning.
