These figures look great! Definitely love the articulation. I'll get them a little later so that I can recover from the holidays. Can't wait for the Vince one though he looked badass.

Bye Bye Mattel. This is what they should have done. Extra heads and hands and so on. Goodbye....here comes my Figuarts. 60 Bucks for near perfection...count me in.

Seeing people take pictures of these just gives me more reasons not to buy them. The Rock was never that skinny. And one can't even hit the People's Elbow due to the elbow pad not being removable.

Shade thrown by bluefin (which is the distributor of sh figuarts ) towards Mattel. In a cheesy ass way by the host but still. Makes you think if these will be a viable contender to the Mattel line.

Honestly, Mattel figs are better than the SHF wwe figures. They are WAY too skinny and they look wonky. They honestly look like R3 tech figures from 15 years ago.

I really love the look of these, but that price point is way out of my comfort zone. The extensive articulation certainly isn't as visually appealing as a normal Mattel Elite, but it opens up so much more room to display these in stylish ways.
I'm honestly going to have to fight myself tooth and nail not to cave in on getting that Austin. As much as I want it, with the way I am about collecting it would be like opening Pandora's Box.

Trust me youd be starting something if you got one. for some reason figuarts don't come off as great as they do in person in videos/pics. I have a few imports and the quality blows away anything that's domestic away. they even "feel" different in hand than stuff you can buy at toys r us here.

One thing that's helping you by you not wanting to get into this line 100%, is that the rock has two skin tones. His chest is a lighter color than the rest of his body which is odd so that's a deterrent at least for not picking up the rock. Plus, people are saying he's too thin. If you look at the rock from 2003, he had this same frame.. -as for stone cold- I'd get him. When will you ever get a figure stone cold truly deserves where you can have him raise the middle finger and two beers to smash? The rest I can see passing on as there's really nothing significant about them in terms of accessories and features Mattel hasn't delivered.

I could be wrong but I'm sure the skin tones on the rock mesh better in person. Sometimes you see mattel figures seem to have different skin tones in pics/videos but you can't really tell in person.

The rock looks nice! Happy the chest isn't a different color from the rest of the body. If these weren't so dang expensive, I can see someone wanting to get them all.

I knew the Rock wouldn't really have 2 skin tones in person. I summed it up to simply being a side effect of the camera RSC used...and I'm surprised so many people on here acted like they've never seen that with Mattels before where things like flash alter the appearance.
I know a lot of people seem to be very hesitant towards these figures because they're unfamiliar and different to the norm of mattel. Now, I don't expect these to replace anyone's collections (hell, they aren't replacing mine!). The price point doesn't allow for that, unless you're rich. But even then, the rate at which these are produced doesn't allow it either...generally only 1 or 2 of these will likely be released at a time every 3 to 4 months at a time. So no, I don't expect anyone to start selling off their Mattels, because these are simply specialty pieces.

I got mine yesterday too. They really are gorgeous figures. The Figuarts are what made me stop collection Hasbro Black Series Star Wars 6" figures. I was SICK of the terrible paintjobs / QC. Figuarts is another level. The paint is 99.9% of the time, super clean.
And lets be honest, I know someone mentioned The Rock was never that 'small' but compared to his Mattel figures, was he ever that 'big'?
And if we are being objective, the SH Figuarts bodies are MUCH MUCH MUCH more lifelike with portions. It's really like having and action figure of a little man. SOmething I've never experience with Mattel.
I guess this is all hard to get your head around if you've never handled a Figuarts release. But for those who know, this are a dream come true.

^^It took me a few hours to get used to the toned down proportions even though I own most of their Marvel and Star Wars releases. I hope enough people give them a chance so we can see more figures.
