They scale perfectly with the vintage figures. They have a very similar weight and quality to them as well. The only thing that makes them a tad inconsistent is that they use a hard rubber for the head sculpts instead of plastic. Overall Mattel did an amazing job with these and I can't wait to see what else they have in store.

I know Series 1 was a trial to see how it does but I hope series 2 we get different set of moves. Like the Clothesline or double punches.

That's awesome. To be fair, not all the hasbros skin tones were accurate or 'matching'. Bret number 1 was far too pale for example, and the first two savage figures were an odd colour. IMO. I'm just happy they go the scale bang on.

Can you imagine if they did some Flashbacks of these? cover some of the glaring omissions in our Hasbro collections?
USA Lex Diesel Jerry Lawler Surfer Sting Hawk & Animal in ring attire 92/93 Savage in ring attire?
I'm sure I'm missing some others......as a Hasbro enthusiast? I'm excited by what "might be" in regards to this line.....

Diesel is my number 1 want. Surfer Sting a close second. I'd love a Vader too but doubt that. I'd love Punk as well but that's not happening. I'd grab Rollins, Styles and a few other modern guys but again not too many.

I don't know how many they plan on making but I'm all in on these. I'll still buy flashback elites but the retro hasbros are what I really want. Not a moc collector but I'm going to go back and grab an extra Cena because I like the packaging so much. I'll be able to die in peace if they make a new Hogan, release a ring for these and make a Dino Bravo.

My only concern with this line is that it will be a one and one deal, or that they won't push the lineup to its full potential.
I'm hoping that these sell like hot cakes and Mattel will give this line the attention it deserves.
I'm pretty pleased with the selection of modern superstars for series 1. Purple Taker is pretty damn cool as well. I'm a little disappointed with Warriors sculpt as well as his attire choice. How amazing would it have been to have him in is WM6 attire?

Better Flair snob HHH Anvil to match Bret 1# BATB/WCW Hogan Vader man oh man the possibilities!!!!!

I have a hunch that this line won't be given the opportunity to get really obscure with the character selections/attire. I seriously hope I'm proven wrong, but I can't but help get the feeling that this is a short term "fun" project.

Oh damn! And I was stoked with Jakks LJN retro figs! Of course my Hasbros are all gone. But I damn sure will revive collecting them once I get my hands on these!
