I haven't heard anything since his surgery. Is he still coming to Smackdown or will he be going back to NOAH?

TBH he was never a big star and would most likely be used as a jobber for young guys to go over so NOAH would be the best place for him.

I hope so. If I had to guess, he'll most likely have to rehab and get cleared from his doctor. Then he'd have to be cleared by WWE's doctors. And as we've learned, that's usually the toughest hurdle to jump.

Hawkins is doing the "2000s guy back as a jobber" role now. I guess Shelton is s good candidate to take over from him, or to be his babyface equivalent.

 He's right to leave NOAH; sadly their turnouts of late have been quite disappointing... Hope Shelton can make the most of his time on SDL. I enjoyed his work for what it was. |

Yes, he will be returning once he recovers. He said he will be back in May, but I think he is just trying to make his return more surprising. Maybe he will be in the Rumble?

The way Smackdown is booked, I think Shelton would've been treated well/decently and been a guy to look forward to had he not got injured. I don't really think he would be on the level of Curt Hawkins that's for sure.
If he does come back, being on Smackdown would be the best for him I'd say.

He had a torn rotator cuff. He is still coming back, there just isn't a confirmed date for when he'll be back.

Why do people want Shelton back??
I rather have the younger version of him, Jason Jordan. That's like saying "I want Kurt Angle back" when you have Chad Gable in the WWE.
I don't understand why wrestling fans want the WWE to do new things with new stars, but still want these old relics from 10 - 15 years ago to return and end up doing nothing.

Seriously I don't get wrestling fans obsession. with seeing Lesnar/Goldberg Taker/Sting or Taker/Cena. all it's going is take time away form the new stars they claim they want to see. |
