Great gets!!
One thing to note about this set - I've only seen one 4 figure set at Walmart at a time. Others I know found unopened cases and there was only one of each figure per case (4)
Don't know why they did this.. but that's what's making these harder to find than normal.. a lot of people want the full set, so when they see them, they buy the full set, and it appears they cleaned out the store.
On another note, yeah screw scalpers lol

The term scalpers is one of my pet hates. Could it not just be that people bought the newest releases figures before you because they wanted them? You guys retail over there is shocking at best, so just because the figures aren't there I'm not sure you can blame these so called scalpers. Really love Earthquake and Typhoon, they look sweet! I see the difference between what's not in the stores and what's on ebay in a 15mi radius, I've also seen them in the act, it's especially savage at Toys R Us, just imagine 3 20-30something nerds running ahead of you and individually sweeping every boy toy aisle when the store opens and walking past you with multiples of the latest Transformers, or Marvel figures, or whatever the weekly scalper special is. Wrestling toys aren't as desirable thank god, but it still happens, divas and Balors are mythic in my town. Great gets!! On another note, yeah screw scalpers lol This is true, I thought they were the basics for a second, felt like a monster for wiping out the whole case. I wonder where those Mean Gene figures will show up? They still aren't on the modular, maybe they'll sell them off to some retailer that doesn't usually carry WWE figures, like Kmart.

No it is scalpers. I went to my local Target a week ago looking for the HoF 2-Packs and when I got there and gave the employee the DPCI # for them he asked me if it was a wrestling item, because some lady had just come and purchased the whole case. When he described the woman it sounded just like the woman who owns T0y W1z a few hours later I checked their site and there was the 2-packs for double and triple the price. Same thing with the WalMart Then, Now and Forever series 2 and 3-Packs. So yeah scalpers are purchasing them. They pay people to go around purchasing all the hot product form stores within he tristate area to sell on their site. Having just looked on their site, I would say they have far too much inventory to be a 'scalper'. Their store is MASSIVE! And nobody ever refers to Ringside as 'scalpers'. They charge more than retail too. Yes they have an actual store and they also have an online store/warehouse the next town over from their actual store. They also have accounts with all the toy manufacturers. But they also send people to the retail stores in the tristate area on a daily basis to buy all the hot/popular toys to sell on their site. So yeah they are scalpers. I wouldn't mind them if they did go around buying up all the hot product from the area retail chains also. They also have a tendency to twice a year dump all their pegwarmers at the local Target, TRU and Walmarts. Although I haven't seen it at TRU once they changed their return policy. But before that I would walk into my local TRU and all of the sudden see tons of product with T0y W!z price stickers on them. A few years ago at TRU I was talking to one of the guys TW would send around to buy produt (He was always good to me as he would always let me get what I was looking for before he grabbed everything for TW) Anyway as we were talking he received a call from the owner of TW. After he hung up he told me he had to go down to the TRU by the Franklin Hill mall down by Philadelphia because they had a shipment of ZuZu pets. I asked what that was and he said he had no clue but he had to go get them. And that was a good 3-4 hour drive one way.

Thinking about it scalpers are toy stores best customers because they buy big quantities that makes the story a huge profit.

I was lucky to get most I needed in the TNF sets from people on here for retail plus shipping. One dude on eBay sold me the Disasters for cost plus shipping after I made an offer. I wonder he stole them? I dunno. Since my Walmart still only has DM Warriors and that's about it I'm grateful for the internet. Great scores man

Packing 4 figures per case at 1 for each figure is the problem here. They should have been packed 8 per case like normal elites are.

I hate scalpers myself. Especially after my hunts this weekend. Went to pretty much all the Walmarts in my area. Found Quake and Typhoon but the rest are gone everywhere. Guaranteed the same person grabbed them all.

The scalper thing is overblown unless you've got a situation like PJ where you can prove it. Best test would be to check online auction sites and see if there are any of these figures being sold within like 25 miles of your local stores. If not, then highly unlikely it was a scalper. After all, you dudes are out there looking for these figures too.

Its funny that some of you think scalpers are all make believe.
When i lived in pa, it was a big issue. Things would be torn off the pallet in the middle of night, only to see them on craigslist or an ebay auction from a local seller the next day. Plenty of flea market guys as well.
You get to know who these people are.
Currently living in ct and i see alot of the same issues. I just noticed that ine may lurk the figure findings board. As i posted about finding a whole case of the tnf 3 pack, the next day i went back to get the shield..and the whole case was gone. Never even hit the shelf.
Same has happened when posting about e45, disappeared within hours. There are local guys on ebay with pretty inflated prices.
Some of you say "well that the game" but are the same that cry "the poor children" over repacks.

No one said they were made up, but it's overblown. Some people think something being gone means a scalper got it. I'll sometimes grab multiples for various reasons. Look at someone like what? who picks up a few of the same quite often for himself or to help others.
scalpers aren't in the same league as repackers. Like them or not, scalpers are still paying for what they buy. Repackers are straight up thieves who not only steal figures but ensure stuff is going to sit on shelves for a long time.

Im not a scalper, i dont have the money to buy everything, but if i wanted it, nobody else stood a chance.
