Hey Wrestling Fans, wanted to show you a part of my WCW/nWo Toybiz/Marvel collection. The holy grail of my collection is the Main Event Ric Flair prototype. I also added some customs I did by myself, I know the paintjob is not really great. Just enjoy, here you can find the pictures: s347.photobucket.com/user/WCW99/library/?sort=2&page=1Greetings from Germany

Welcome!
You have a nice collection. I like the Flair prototype and the customs. I would like to see the rest since this is a part of your collection.

I totally missed the part where you said "customs" and thought that the Martel was a prototype! It's ridiculous how well the Hasbro heads work on the Toy Biz figures.
Are you currently or, plan on in the future "Recreating" your collection with Mattel figures and Nitro Ring mats and the such?
Welcome to the board pal!

Thanks! Yes the Habsbro heads work perfect with the Toy Biz figures , I'm going to do a Vincent custom with the Virgil Habro head, too. What do you exactly mean with recreating? Sorry I'm from Germany so my English is not perfect. I'm planning to make more customs and also building a arena, including also mats, commentary and stage. I even started but it takes some time.

Oh, sure.
I was asking if you planned on buying some Mattel WCW guys and maybe using the Wicked Cool Toys WCW Nitro Ringmat/skirt combo. I just think it'd be cool to see an older WCW Toy Biz set up next to a Mattel WCW set up.
Either way, looking forward to following your progress, be sure to keep us informed!

Ok I understand, the WCW Mattel figures and stuff look great, but I'm just concentrating on the WCW Toy Biz Line. Maybe I use the Mattel ringmat for a custom ring if it's not too huge. Yes sure, if I'm done I keep informing you guys. The biggest challenge in this project is to create the Monday Nitro entrance, which they had from 1995-1999.

I have a question and not sure where to ask but thought someone here might could get me an answer. I just got some Smash N Slam figures on card and the sting and macho man are in white and black is this a variant. I have looked on ebay and can't find a white and black macho man figure on there or sting. Please if someone can shed some light on this for me.

Smash and Slam may have more variants than any other part of the Toybiz line. Both of the ones you mention are variants. You can see them in my sticky thread collection photos at the top of this section.

The b & w Machon Man appears also on a set called "Power & Beauty" which includes also Miss Elisabeth. Concerning the Stinger I'm not sure. The b & w white Sting could be rarer than the r & b, but maybe not because it was released as mini blister at the end of the line.

Phenomenal collection, some stuff I've never really seen decent photos of, the KB Goldberg and Main Event Flair.
If you're looking for more accessories for your WCW stuff, try the spam printouts. (Are we allowed to recommend that on here?) It looks like you'd be great at creating their printouts well.
Any figure now that's become a new holy grail?
