Hey fellas, I'm thinking of preordering the Amazon Exclusive Chris Jericho but the thing that's putting me off is the possibility of getting hit with a customs charge. It's coming to just over $30 (£22ish), would a charge be likely?

Thought I’d ask here because for the most part I find I get more sense out of we UK folk than the worldwide board. Anyone got any good tips for thinning out their collection? I’m currently trying and had very little success, I just feel like I want to keep everything even though I want a smaller, more concise collection Only you can decide how you collect. Keep what you want, sell what you don't.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm 99% certain Amazon include all custom charges on their final price, to avoid any unwanted charges when your item arrives. If someone could confirm this though, as like I say, I'm not 100% sure.

I’m currently trying and had very little success, I just feel like I want to keep everything even though I want a smaller, more concise collection I've narrowed mine down based on my pic fed. My roster is 99% current guys with a few exceptions like Bret and Shawn so if I see a figure like Kamala I think 'would I actually have a use for this figure in my storylines' and most of the time the answer is no. That's trimmed my collection down A LOT. I've never been a completionist but a few years back, I'd be buying 3 or 4 Elites from every wave, plus Basics and Battle Packs. Now I maybe buy one Elite every few waves depending on what I want/need for W3A - I originally slowed down on buying basics because Elites are easier to pose with and since they've changed the articulation and taken accessories out of the Battle Packs, I haven't bought any since (with the exception of the Bearer BAF wave). Really depends on what you use your collection for - display/playing/animation/pic fedding etc, and what you want to collect. Narrow it down to a certain time period or else say you're only going to buy one figure of each wrestler. I've done this and also helps for the future, realizing who I need to buy and make them priorities.

That’s me done from ordering from ringside. Just received a £13.97 customs charge on the EG Bobby Roode figure I’ve ordered. Never been stung by charges before on a single figure so pretty gutted to be honest.

EG Hardy and Angle goes for about £27 now.

Lesson learned the hard way! haha.

If elite 57 is not in stock by April 30th I will be mad. Smyths are getting really complacent imo and should start doing more generous figure reductions. Reduce the Goldberg ring for Christ's sake!

The shelves in mine are jacked at the minute, hopefully a decent round of reductions are on the way because it's just un-browse-able at the minute

Which of your figures would be in YOUR Hall of Fame? Then get rid of the ones that wouldn’t make it. I hope you’re not like me and would still include everybody!! 😆

We have had 6.72 series per year for 8.33 years globally.
Smiths have had 3 series in the first 4 months of the year.
What's the gripe?
It's comfortably above average this year.
they are also visibly ordering less series. Back to the level of 3 years ago. So they have no need to reduce as quick. Uso's are gone at full price. Clube are near gone at full price. Even Rich swan is near gone at full price.

I don't give a rip how much stock they order. I care what price I pay for. All I know is that it seems we haven't had a good smyths WWE sale in over a year. £5 for elites. Also they used to be more reliable in terms of in stock dates.

Also they used to be more reliable in terms of in stock dates. They've NEVER been reliable with any info on their website. Hold no faith in 6 quid an hour IT workers in Mumbai.
£5 elites were when they over ordered in the mid 40 ranges starting at Elite 44. There were also lot of z list flashbacks like Tugboat and Harlem Heat, and there was the a/b waves too making the shelves more clogged.
If you think we are going to get any £5-10 elite soon, I can tell you what it is now. It's Charlotte. But we won't because they are no longer over ordering.
Hopefully we might see some slightly cheaper waves a couple of months, but it won't last long. The USD it bouncing back, and Oil is at 70 bucks a value.
I'm a maven for this info bud.

Plus it's pretty clear that any mass amounts of stock left over they are now selling on to other stores. So joint the real world mate, smyths arnt going to drop all there stock down just to suit you. Look at this year we didn't even get the 20% off weekend this year. Why? Cause they don't need to.

Yeah the problem by and large was they were ordering stupid quantities of every series Evidently they realised it wasn't sustainable so they significantly cut down on how many boxes they were ordering in I'm no expert on how all this works out, but it's conceivable that the reason Elites are showing up in places like Home Bargains / B&M's and The Entertainer on the cheap is because they're the cases that Smyths didn't buy as usual
That said, there's a few new series about to land and the shelves are brimming in Bolton at least, so some reductions would go down a treat right about now. Looking at the last Elite Owens and Alexa in particular who have been sitting around for a while now

what happen to the han solo story toys in the uk? The 16,000 last Jedi figures that are still in my nearest Asda and Tesco is probably what happened to the Solo figures in my area.
