Calling the TRU Network HBK underwhelming is the most absurd thing I've ever heard, but opinions are just that. Came to post this. Overall great thread though.

Calling the TRU Network HBK underwhelming is the most absurd thing I've ever heard, but opinions are just that. imo, a so so head scan, no Entrance gear and hat, no kneepads, and a midget ladder acccessorry is underwhelming. Also this figure was the perfect HBK to get the DM treatment with entrance gear and IC title, but they disappointed this collector with what they put out in the end.

Calling the TRU Network HBK underwhelming is the most absurd thing I've ever heard, but opinions are just that. Well, I suppose no kneepads and dinky ladder are a bummer, but the tights are the right color and details are as good as it gets, imo.

Great pics! Makes you realise how many Flashback/Legends type figures get released. I wish I had e47, e47b, e48, tnf2 and TNF 3pks. That stuff is all 2017 for meYeah, officially (according to the packaging and Mattel themselves!), all those are 2017 product (...along with E46 and the DM Ric Flair). But then that would mean HOF 3, the Heenan Family set and Elite 39 and 40 Flashbacks should be included instead...

Great pictures and summary of the year. Here's hoping 2017 has even better flashbacks.

Awesome pictures
It is amazing now that this line has turned into more Flashbacks put out in a single year than main roster talent. I'm not complaining, but things were looking grim for FB collectors in 2012-13
Hope they can keep it up

Fantastic photo review, way too much complaining in the comments. If I bought ALL the Flashbacks figures, and many of the current roster Mattel put out over the last year. Put the time to look at stats, and take pictures with different displays, than I have every right to critque the out of their product, or as you would say complain. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

The RSC Nash is a great figure but I wouldnt refer to as a Wolfpack Nash. That's the E16 Nash. When I got this figure it allowed me to make 3 EXCELLENT WCW Nash figures.
Head Swap with the Battlepack Nash gave us a proper elite in ring 96/97 Nash.
Ponytail head suited the street gear Nash WAY better.
Belt and Shirt went to E16 Nash and made the PERFECT 98 Nash.
for this reason it was well worth buying

When you factor in the rereleases that aren't shown here, it was a really good year for flashbacks. The Nash figure is one of my favorites in my collection.
