Just started collecting and really like the look of the figures in their packaging. Obviously this takes up more shelf space and as my collection grows its getting harder and harder to display.
So, I was wondering how the MOC collectors on the board displayed their collections?
Any advice would also be appreciated.

I hang all my figures on the wall. Ringside collectibles now has figure defender cases for many of thei elites and defining moment figures so I've bought those for all of mine which allows me to keep them in mint condition. I have a good amount of basics as well but sadly they aren't any protective cases for them. Not yet anyways. I do have a feeling they are on the way.

I can't until I get my new house with my own man cave. Just don't have the room.

I'm so ing glad I'm not a MOC collector. The frequent changes in packaging would kill me because I'm OCD as hell. That's probably the one positive thing I can say about Jakks. The classic line packaging was uniform. Then again, I'm a loose collector so it didn't matter either way.

If I have a ton of space someday in the distant future and I'm bored maybe I'll come up with a display. My son has a loose collection that I can look at whenever. He doesn't play with them much anymore so I'm thinking of making him some display shelves to stand the figures with their accessories. (Until now I've been keeping all the accessories in a huge ziploc bag so he won't loose them all.) That'll suffice for me for now.

I came here to get some ideas on how to display some of my figures.... only to leave this thread admiring how awesome your collection & display setup is. Maybe just a tad jealous as well 😂. Impressive, sir. Impressive.

Impressive, sir. Impressive. I did not expect to see such an impressive setup when I created this thread. I was going to post some pictures of my current setup to get some feedback, but I don't think I want to try and follow that.

That's an awesome collection indeed. But I prefer quality over quantity personally. Sometimes less is more.

If you are looking for constructive feedback, post your stuff and we can give you some ideas. I personally like shelves better than hanging them up with tacks etc

[br Alright, #1. I'm not a hater hating on anyone here #2. Did I say they weren't decent??....No #3. I was just voicing my personal preference there buddy #4. Freedom of speech is still legal #5. Not sure what happened (if anything) but a few people seem to have a bit of attitude towards my posts here lately, very standoffish #6. ??

Your posts! 2. by merely saying (and quoting my pic) u prefer "quality over quantity" - u imply that it (my collection) is of low quality... so I called u out on it. 3. Freedom of speech is ur right - not sure how I questioned u on this.

The lady that lived in my apartment before me had Christmas lights all over, when I moved in the tacks were still in the wall. I put RSC Macho King on one, and boom. MOC figures that I designate as "valuable" go on the wall. Although now, I'm out of tacks.

Then again, I'm a loose collector so it didn't matter either way. ...I think it depends - it looks good if you display them in "series" (like the collection above!) - but if you wanted to display certain factions that have different packaging (like DX or Demolition), then yeah, I can imagine it wouldn't look as good. I really hope Mattel keep the HOF packaging the same though... it's only been altered once (the shape of the box between Series 2 and 3), but still has the overall same look.... so finger's crossed.
