I just got off the movies from watching this, and I must say, it was SO GOOD!!! James McAvoy's acting was insane, the guy is amazing, he should really win something for his performance....
Oh and the ending was one of the best thing I've ever seen in movies!!!
Anyone else watched it?

Watched it last nite and it rocks. M Night got back to his roots for this one. Its not what I was expecting based off of the trailers.
Also, I concur about the ending.

I saw it back in September with M. Night and McAvoy coming into our theater afterwards.
I thought it was decent at the time, but now I think it might be his second or third best film.

Will be seeing it with a couple friends tonight.
Hopefully it's as good as critics say but that's almost never the case.

I was really, really excited about this and ended up feeling immensely disappointed. McAvoy was excellent, but the script failed him. It was an incredible performance wasted on a dull and uninteresting film.

I enjoyed it, would say it stands out of M. Night's recent works. Like everyone else is saying, I thought the ending was very anticlimactic and depressing compared to the rest of the film. I love McAvoy's performance and the connection to Unbreakable though.

got back from seeing it an hour ago. it sets up unbreakable 2/split 2 really well - mcavoy's character is obsessive over the idea that everyone should suffer and those that don't aren't awake, bruce willis' character outside of water has never physically suffered in his life.
the movie itself was okay, nothing to go crazy over. but as a huge mark for unbreakable i'm pumped for any future this has.

This movie was DAMN GOOD.
I laughed way more than I expected. The movie seemed to fly by as well which surprised me. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing though. It was tremendous. The last 30 minutes or so had me sitting there almost in awe like "what am I watching".
Definitely recommend checking it out.

Am I the only one here who thought that the movie plot with the beast was kind of underwhelming?
