I was stopping at Walmart everyday early last month looking for TNF2 and BATB. They got the retros first and every day I would go there would be less and less of every one. I think they're doing well, or at least in my area. Personally, I will be very selective when buying these. Will only get Warrior from series 1. No desire for current roster and don't need every flashback.

Haven't found them yet but will probably get the legends. These are the first figs that have interested me since BCA

They look awesome and I hope this continues, however, I will only be purchasing Hasbro-era figures from this line.

I've already picked up the initial set of four and will continue to buy two of each (one each loose & MOC) that come out. Same here

New Guy here! Hello!
I love these! This is how you get a vintage only toy collector to buy new toys. The price point is perfect for me as I find paying $20 + for new stuff is silly. I think that they will do really well when it comes to parents and kids.
I will be grabbing Cena, Lesnar,UW and Undertaker from wave 1. I am not interested in any of the new guys. I am so old school that I consider Cena and Lesnar as "new" guys. I am Super Stoked for wave 2! I want surfer and crow Sting! Stone Cold and Kane will also be fun. Do you guys do wishlists?
I'm off to scour ebay for some loose mint Hasbros! Totally regret selling the collection that I had last year.
Take Care,
Kevin

I bought Brock and Kevin Owens, might pick up Cena. They're cute, but I'm not gonna go crazy.

I don't get the logic here. You want Mattel to make guys that Hasbro ALREADY made? Some of you are missing the point of these. We are getting "Hasbro-fied" versions of current guys to complement the old Hasbros that some of us may or may not have. Yes, Bill is throwing us old School guys a bone including Taker and Warrior but I'm all for guys that Hasbro never or couldn't make. It's easy, I didn't collect toys in the hasbro era. Now that I do, If Mattel made this style figure with wrestlers I actually watched and am a fan of I'd probably buy them. I get that they are making current guys to market to kids and also to compliment the collections of hasbro collectors. Then why not buy the original Hasbros? They are studier (higher quality plastic and can take a beating) and you can get them for reasonable prices when they are loose. Especially at shows and flea markets.

I passed. I explained this in another thread, but I'm just not as nostalgic as others for these. The originals came out when I was a senior in high school and collecting toys wasn't something I was doing back then.
I also wouldn't even display them as I hate mixing and matching different brand wrestling figs. I just don't like the way it looks.

Love them.
Bought the first four; want to buy Warrior and Taker; and plan on buying all future releases.

I liked the Zombies. I loved the Rumblers. I like the Mutants.
But these do nothing for me - yet they seem to be beloved here. I guess nostalgia is pretty strong stuff.
I only have Demolition from the Hasbro line, so my fondness for these is pretty slim.

The retro figures look like toys from 25 years ago. Have fun listening to Ace of Base and watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air while wearing a slap bracelet as you play with your toys!

Not seen them over here yet but I'd pick up Lesnar and Cena.
I'd also be game for some attitude era guys.

I'm all in. I have two sets of the first 4 and I'll buy any more they put out. Seriously, so cool to have these and I'm dying to get AJ and Rollins... and Diesel.
