Seeing they aren't Hasbro figures I guess my answer to your question is...No. Now will I buy more of Mattel's retro figure? I haven't purchased any yet, because I only want Warrior and Taker. I will buy Sting and Triple H from series 2. (Will buy any and all versions of them) Other than that the only modern wrestlers I would buy are Seth, Orton, Styles and Jericho. But if they make more old school wrestlers I would be more inclined to purchase them.

I'll buy Sting's and Undertakers.....I'll buy pretty much anything having to do with Sting and Undertaker. Not Mutuants or Zombies though.

Someone who works at Walmart posted this a couple months back. Series 2 appears to be Kane, Sting, Rock, Austin, Mankind, and HHH Right after Christmas most stores have a reset of the toy department to make room for the new items for the year. Well I looked at a list of some of the new items for the action figure section at Walmart and saw something interesting. It had listed something called WWE Retro Figure. When I checked the assortment listing it had the following figures listed.... John Cena Kane Sting The Rock Ultimate Warrior Brock Lesnar Kevin Owens Triple H Stone Cold Steve Austin Roman Reigns Mankind Undertaker

Flair and Hart they made as Hasbro's and those aren't hard to get. I'd rather they focused on dude's they didn't get to and new guys. I'd still fraggin buy them though

These don't display well together with Hasbro's. Sure they are similar designs, but that is where it ends. Hasbro's had a more cartoonish look to them.(which I loved) While the Mattel figures use their real scan technology on the faces making them not blend in with Hasbro's. So I would totally want Mattel version of Bret and Flair for my shelves.

I'm kind of with PJ on this. It's kind of a dream come true for someone who collected the original WWF Hasbro line, but the roster so far doesn't excite me all that much. That'll change if we see more figures of guys who were around during the WWF Hasbro era.

Waiting for Mattel's retro LJN line. If Jakks can do it, Mattel could.

Every series should have 4 current and 2 legends No way... There are far more legends/versions of legends that need to be made with only 2 in each series it would never be done.

Waiting for Mattel's retro LJN line. Won't happen. Bill already said couldn't do it cuz they would weigh too much making shipping costs very expensive.

There are minor differences but I feel it's a pretty good match. Why waste plastic and effort on toys that exist vs cranking out new ones? It'd be like a cover song, rarely good as the original.

I guess we'll have to disagree. To me I look at my Hasbro figures and they are very animated especially with their faces and the Mattel faces are much more realistic that I wouldn't be able to display them together. To me it would be no different than displaying a Jakks RA Mysterio on the shelf with my Mattel WWE. Sure it is similar, but he would stand out like a sore thumb. So for me just like my Jakks and Mattel figures the Hasbro's and Retros need their own shelves.

I guess we'll disagree. The retros are cartoonish too, look at that Brock. They're not AS much as Hasbros but not so much less that it's Jakks-Mattel different or, IMO, un-displayable. I'm mad enough I'm such a sucker I'm going to buy the Warrior and Taker, since they already have superior and existing Hasbros, I'd just hate it to get all clogged up with re-do's vs new characters.
