There has been a lot of talk about the YouTube Wrestling Community being dead. Folks are making excuses on why their videos don't get a lot of views anymore, but I think it's because the quality of the videos are crap.
What are your thoughts? Here are mine.

I don't really know how it is now, but back in 2007-2009 the YouTube Wrestling Community was huge. Guys like RVDTito4life, Truthslayer, MBWrestler87 among many others. It was actually a community, with everyone making video responses on topics. When video responses got removed, the community died out.

I don't really know how it is now, but back in 2007-2009 the YouTube Wrestling Community was huge. Guys like RVDTito4life, Truthslayer, MBWrestler87 among many others. It was actually a community, with everyone making video responses on topics. When video responses got removed, the community died out. I've seen the comment about responses getting removed and it hurting the community a lot. But I think this issue is two fold. That may have killed the back and forth between members, however, I personally feel like with the rise of folks like Casey Niestat, wrestling fans want and expect more. The days of dark, shaky and grainy videos are over. There are so many podcasts for fans to get there news from, so we have to set ourselves apart and get creative. We have to compete for viewers just like WWE has too. But folks are content w/ making the same low quality videos and it doesn't work now. |

I am in the Youtube Wrestling Figure Community. I enjoy JDFromNY overall in channels, he is entertaining as hell, if you don't think so, you are a 'GOOON' He has a big personality which helps. I've seen a few of his videos. But I try to stay away the from spoiler and rumor talk. |

Grim and Duhop, outside of Wrestletalk, are the ones I love watching, and didn't find them until a year ago. Their quality is good, and the content original, with reviews and satire to aid the wrestlebase.
