MDT and Hardcore are sh*t imo...they've had plenty of chances to correct the mdt.

I like the Jakks one more, but I use both in my million dollar stable. The big one on the champ and 2 mattels for my tag champs

I remember being so excited to finally get that Jakks HBK in black/white pants (SS vs Hogan) with the Undisputed title. Until I tried to put it on someone and realized it was WAY too big. Thankfully the version that came with modern Hogan was just right. Jakks had a tendency to release belts in weird sizes (giant Raw tag titles) and too infrequently to my liking, which made finding those figures in stores impossible.
Mattel's belts are better top to bottom. Mattel can't make separate plates for the Hardcore title because it's a bunch of separated pieces irl that can't be shrunk down to figure size effectively. Jakks' version was shrunk to one solid piece for the faceplate and looked bad. The Million Dollar Belt is all weird-shaped pieces of metal attached together. Can't make that look good in toy form.

It feels like people are desperate to find one item that Jakks did better than Mattel.

^^^^I don't understand that line of thinking^^^^
I like Mattel much more than any Crapps figs I ever saw. They had so many issues that I can't even count them all. I never bought a wrestling figure until I got DM Bret Hart. Every once in a while I considered buying a Jakks figure but I would read reviews and see how bad they were....
