Unlike a lot of other wrestlers passing away, this one isn't nearly as bad. 79 YO, is a decently long life. Still sad though. RIP

Chavo Sr, Nicole Bass and Animal Steele in one week. That's a rough time, man.

Sad to hear RIP George I never saw much of his early work, but I enjoyed his feud with The Macho Man & Elizabeth.

RIP to the Animal.
I hope there's an abundance of turnbuckles for you to tear up in heaven.

Ugh. I've always been a George Steele fan. RIP Animal. Rest now and I hope wherever you may be is everything you ever hoped for.

Sad. George Steele was the first wrestling match I ever saw as a kid in 1980 and what got me interested.

Shame. He was finishing up by the time I started watching. But there was something about him. He was captivating.

It sucks being a wrestling fan on days like this. He wrestled before my time, but my dad talked about The Animal whenever we discussed classic wrestling. Prayers to his family. Rest in peace, sir.

Fortunately, he was able to live a long life, which we can't say for many wrestlers.

He did an autograph signing in Queens last year. I so regret not going. He was a great character and a true legend.
RIP George The Animal Steele!
