Apologies for the odd thread title - it's the only way the question will make sense!
Basically I'm wanting to use a Basis 'crotch' with elite legs, torso etc, has anyone tried this? Are they any different and is there a problem mixing the two?
I won't be able to decals and paint etc I'm useless, Mattel have only released 1 Rock in his red trunks and just stuck with Gold & Silver (and of course his DM). So I was going to get an extra Survivor Series Heritage and use that. Any advice hugely appreciated, sorry if this is in the wrong place!

Here's an old diagram of what Elite hips looked like: The Basic (male) hips are built differently (I assume they're single pieces that are sandwiched by the crotch). The two types are incompatible. Technically you could blend the parts together, but it would require some sculpting, maybe hot glue, some drilling, etc. Just practice painting lol. Spend a day practicing on scrap figures, you'll be competent in no time.

Or just wait until they make one. They have the license for at least two more years, and they love making Rocks and Cenas.

Thanks both, much appreciated for both of your help. I think holding out is the best bet! No doubt they'll make one at some stage soon.
