I know he wasn't a major player during his heyday, but I'd love to see an action figure of La Parka.
Anybody who watched WCW back in its glory days remembers him. A hefty cruiserweight dressed in a skeleton costume and mask who'd dance and shred some mean air guitar on his beloved steel chair.
I get that there might be more deserving people, but I really think he'd resonate with old school collectors and even kids who have no idea who he is. He kind of looks like something out of Masters of the Universe. If I was a kid and didn't know anything about wrestling I'd still want to buy his figure just because it looks so cool.
Anybody else want a La Parka? I think he'd be a great addition to collections as there wouldn't be another figure like him. Throw in a steel chair and call him an Elite.

Id love a La Parka. I seem to remember an interview with Bill from MDT saying that's one of the figures he would love to make that he does not have rights to. I may be wrong but I think he did mention him.

The La Parka's trademark is owned by AAA. They ain't selling the rights to WWE and Mattel. The original goes by LA Park and as far as I know, no one contact has been made by either party to work out a merch deal.

I bought the mattel La Parka suit and mask from Ralphs and have just been using that for the Chairman. Would love to see him get the figure treatment

I feel like even if you weren't a fan of the character, you have to admit he looked pretty damn cool. The kind of gimmick that just BEGS for an action figure!
Mattel probably wouldn't have to worry about him rotting any shelves because of that.

Bill did mention he wanted to make a La Parka but attaining the rights for him is very difficult.

Kidman is one of my top wants though as well as fantasy figures like AKI Man & THQ Man from Nintendos WCW vs NWO Revenge

He definitely seems like one of the ones who'd be too difficult to make due to confusing rights stuff. It's a shame, because him, Juvi (removable mask!), Ultimo Dragon, Psychosis, and a few of the other more marketable guys from that time would make for excellent editions to the WCW undercard roster. I still think they should pursue Mortis and Glacier on looks alone.

One of those figures where you might not even care about the character, but can't deny how cool and badass they look.

I'd buy literally any of the figures mentioned in this thread. Now that the WCW main event scene is a little more filled in (of the guys who are currently signed), I'd love to see some of the more colorful midcard guys made. The Monday Night Wars-era WCW roster feels thin right now.

One of my favorite gimmicks from the 90's. Mortis was awesome, too.
