What is the deal with that new ring? Looks like it has the new digital posts and instead of a skirt, it looks plastic.
Is it made by Mattel? Is it authentic scale?

The placard on display in today's Ringside Instagram post would indicate that this is indeed an Authentic Scale Ring, but also one that measures slightly larger than your standard ASR. DXG60 is the item model number and that product has been known for quite some time. It was originally supposed to be an Elite WrestleMania Ring Playset. The measurements are 15 x 26 x 6.5 inches and the ring/package reportedly weighs in at 5.5 to 6 pounds. The extra size/weight must be accommodating of the new apron and posts as well as any accessories included in this set.

I like that it has the new digi posts but the ropes look too short compared to the fig in the ring. Would like to get mor einfo on measurements of the ring itself.

I noticed that too in the photo of the Goldberg figure standing next to the ropes. It is the only thing that kind of bothers me about the ring (also the height from floor to the ring mat). Other than that I'm looking forward to the ring.

Wait is this ring bigger than the ASR? No it's smaller, but obviously bigger than the basic ring, so it's in the middle

I'm not crazy about the ring post using those hard mounted turnbuckle pads like the basic rings though.

Wait is this ring bigger than the ASR? He did say that but I think he was referring to the box dimensions and not the actual ring. It looks smaller than ASR bigger than basic to me.

Looking great. I've got three scale rings but they're too big to keep out and have too many parts to keep building/taking apart. This looks like the perfect combination of manageable size and simple build. Throw in the Goldberg figure and the extra stuff and so far it seems an easy winner for best Mattel WWE playset ever.

Hmmm, it sure looks like it is in the instagram picture. Could be plastic molding though. That would be a bummer.

I have mixed feelings on this. I like that it looks maybe to better scale than the WCT rings (which are too large). Also like the commentator accessories and the LED components. I would definitely be more excited about buying this if a few things were fixed though. I don't like that it has the turnbuckles built into the posts just like the basic rings and with no WWE logo on them. Also - do the ropes look too low to anyone else compared to the height of the Goldberg figure? And in general, this looks much less interchangeable than the WCT ring, where you can change up ring skirts and turnbuckles. Makes me wonder how pricey this will be as well.

Ropes seem too short. Ad the turnbuckle pads look awful. If they are like the basic rings you will not be able to interchange them. I guess you also won't be able to change the posts to a blue scheme for smackdown either. They will probably sell a second ring im betting with an exclusive SD fig.

They just seem a bit too wide and seem like they were meant for the Jakks figures which were larger.

You are right, but if you look at the bottom of the ring posts; they look like they could slide right out of that slot holding them. If there was Smackdown posts with blue ropes; you might be able to swap them in pretty easily.
