I've been wanting an alundra blayze, Sable, Chyna, Ivory, jacqueline, Wendi Richter, Jazz etc. Yet they never seem to make any classic women. I get they might not sell like crazy, but I mean come on, they are making a Warlord and possibly a Bezerker...you telling me Bezerker will outsell an Alundra Blayze or a Chyna? I thought they would have made an Alundra a long time ago considering she got elected into the hall of fame years ago. You answered your own question lol.

I'd rather see stores clogged with female figures than the Morbidly obese men in singlets that are currently clogging up my local walmarts. But yeah, keep telling yourself "legends sell better than women"

I'd rather see stores clogged with female figures than the Morbidly obese men in singlets that are currently clogging up my local walmarts. But yeah, keep telling yourself "legends sell better than women" Neither sell good. It's the people that folks hate like John Cena and Roman Reigns who move units. Which why you keep seeing them every other lineup for basics and elites. Legends and women figures do the same thing. Both are highly sought out by people when first released. Almost sell out or do sell out the 1st wave. Then stores get more boxes of that series to put out and their demand goes into quicksand. Because those who wanted to buy it already did and kids aren't buying them. I can go to my local Walmart right now and can buy a Doink and Paige off the shelves for way less than they were going for when that debuted a year ago. They still got Bad News Barrett and Cody Rhodes if that suits my fancy. And we all know about Sid. By the fall, Sasha Banks elite will do the same when revision boxes hit the retail scene.

Chyna is never happening. Even if the WWE OK's it MDT has said there is no way Mattel will ever OK the making of a hardcore porn star which is what she was. So she isn't being made as long as Mattel holds the license. Now I would buy another Elizabeth or Sherri, Richter, Madusa and Sunny if they were made, but that would probably be it. And yes I do think a Beserker would sell better. Because even if they have no idea who it is a majority of the little boys would want a cool looking Viking figure over a woman wrestler who hasn't been seen in 15+ years. What a hypocritical thing for Mattel to even insinuate when they've made X-Pac, and the fact that they think being a porn star is worse than a known homophobic/racist preacher like Ultimate Warrior was is acceptable is absolutely laughable.

I would buy: Sherri, Liz, Sunny, Marlena, Sable, Chyna, Luna Vachon
They should make them as badics since the women basic pretty much if not match the elite articulation anyway.

Ooooooooooh, an Ashley Massaro figure. I used to love that girl. However, I believe she's part of a class action lawsuit against WWE.

It amazes me we haven't got at least Sable because her husband does work for the company and it would be a really cool figure with the black outfit and whip and womens title

With a few exceptions, many of them wouldn't sell. We're talking about toys aimed at children, and many kids don't know Ivory or Jazz or Jacqueline, etc.

They should put Sherri in a HOF 2 pack with Macho Man or HBK.

Lets look at this Logically shall we. you say "Classic Women" Lets look at the current market of Buyers outside of anyone on this website. Kids, Teens. Most of which never watched wrestling Prior to John Cena.
Lets look at some decades
Golden Age - Mae Young (When she was on TV, she was Relevant, even if old. she has since passed, and kids have no idea whom she is, and would not buy her)
80's - Fabulous Moolah, Wendi Richter, LaLani Kai, Rockin Robin, Shensational Sherri, Glamour Girls, Jumping Bomb Angels (Same idea as above)
90's - Alundra Blaze, Bertha Fae, Bull Nakano, Sable, Sunny, Ivory, Tori (Aside from Sunny and Sable. most fans cannot connect with any of these women)
00's - Molly, Chyna, Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Stacy, Dawn Marie etc (This has more merit for collectors, but still does not appeal to the target market
so technically outside of the Flashback/Classic Figures. its a tough market for mass retailers, say they make a Torrie Wilson Flashback or Alundra Blaze. there is a 90% chance of it sitting on shelves, Lita is warming shelves near me. plus Women figures in general do not sell well. Namomi is still warming shelves, Tons of Renee young floating around and Lana.
I understand from a collectors standpoint how in demand they are. but from a business owners standpoint, its just not appealing

The two most iconic women wrestlers of the modern era are Trish and Lita. Both absolutely rotted at retail. I can find multiple litas within minutes of where I work and the Duchess Mall in fishkill ny has moc trish figures for years at $20. Still to this day there's at least 4. I'm convinced no classic women would sell well.

They seem content with how well the classics are selling even though they rot on shelves and don't appeal to kids. How would anything change if it were female classics. "Classics" are marketed towards the hardcore collectors, and among hardcore collectors, I would think that an Alundra Blayze for example would sell better than a Bezerker.

Wait?! Chyna was a hardcore pornstar? Was she any good? I don't watch the stuff, but did anyone like it?
Wold they make Sable? She was in Playboy. I guess they would, HBK was in Playgirl.

For those who have an issue with Mattel's reasoning for their stance on Chyna need to remember this...Mattel's two largest brands are Barbie and American Girl dolls. Which both lines are marketed for girls believe they can grow up and aspire to be anything so they aren't going to to make a figure of someone who got paid to have sex on camera. All that would do is open the floodgates for the moral majority and any other group to boycott and protest them. That is certainly not worth the bad publicity it would generate. The two most iconic women wrestlers of the modern era are Trish and Lita. Both absolutely rotted at retail. I can find multiple litas within minutes of where I work and the Duchess Mall in fishkill ny has moc trish figures for years at $20. Still to this day there's at least 4. No Bezerker would sell better than Alundra Blayze. No Mattel mass retail line is solely geared towards the collectors market. Sure the collectors market is a percentage of the or targeted sales, but the majority of their sales come from what children will want. The WWE brand is a boy orientated line so yes a cool looking Viking figure will have a greater appeal towards boys than an Alundra Blayze.
