I usually try to just buy 1 elite of each person/character but I'm going to have like 5 balors.

That's incredibly disappointing. Another figure I won't be buying due to the wrong parts being used, on top of that, it influences customizers to use those incorrect parts to 'stay close to mattels choices'.

I'm going to wait until they make an actual physical proto to display before making any claims.

The back design alone will be worth it

I hope it's like the NXT Rollins and it's just what they had to display. Maybe they just took what the figure will look like paint wise and photoshopped it on the first Bálor they had available

Honestly, after E41, I didn't think I'd buy anymore Elite Demon Balors unless he drastically changed his look.. then I bought E46 and the Spotlight. Also bought a custom paint-less Finn, but I'll be buying the RSC Finn as well.
So.. yeah, that didn't happen

I just wish they would be consistent. I get the budget thing and paint app but don't release one with different parts if your going to jump back. I know EVERYONE wants Finn to be shredded but I'd rather have consistency and all have the same molds used. Maybe I'm just too OCD.

How is it easier to make?
The paint only covers the chest and the green tongue partially touches the torso region. It makes no sense. The network spotlight has paint that covers a majority of the torso and were still able to do it..

I can't wait to for this figure to be in my hands! I've been happy with all the Balor figures so far but will be even happier if this one comes with the larger cheast sculpt. Will we have to wait until SummerSlam season to see these in stores?

It was an educated guess that it was to do with budget
The paint app on the shredded torso apparently wasn't feasible for the regular elite line, but was for the Network Spotlight line. A line that retails for £6 more than regular elites in the UK. Thus, I assumed (maybe wrongly so) that that line gets a slightly higher budget than the regular line

Bill said the torso is due to the paint app. Nothing to do with budget. I dont know where some of you get info They figured out the paint app with the spotlight fig, thing is a freaking work of art. Hopefully they give him the more ripped torso but I'm pot committed to getting all the demons so they'll get my $$$ regardless The paint app on the Spotlight figure doesn't cover nearly as much surface area compared to E41, E46 & this SummerSlam figures on the front or back so it makes sense why they went back to the first torso for this.

As stated above, the more deco painted on, the torso needs to be different. He said he would like to use the more cut torso, but just wouldnt work as well.

Ripped torso or not, I'm just pumped on the amount of painted Balor's we're getting. I'm still holding out hope for Takeover: End to be made with the all black, grey, and white. Also want the gear when he was like a dragon. The Ripper I don't need (but would still buy) simply because it's pretty close to everything else.

Next to the Beast in the East, the TakeOver: The End paint is my favorite. I sure hope we get that in figure form. It was such a sleek overall look. So sick. Basic or elite, I don't care.

Chest is more covered than the SS as well as the abs. So paint me confused cause the torso paint app doesn't seem to be a issue anymore

I too will be buying every Finn valor figure. The things Mattel is able to do with his elite paint apps are mind blowing. This summerslam fig is amazing.
This along with the RSC exclusive would mean 5 elites for the guy in a matter of 13 or so months? Did Cena even pull that type of number?
