The thing with the last match is: If they put Lesnar/Goldberg on last, it will not really be a MainEvent calibre match, the match-up Yes, but not the match itself. And I don't believe that the fans will like a 7-10min match as their headliner of the evening... In this scenario, Reigns/Taker will be the second last match or somewhere down the middle and the crowd might hijack the rest of the show, which they don't want to happen I guess. If Taker/Reigns headlines, we have the problem that the match has to be very safe so Taker doesn't get broken in half by THE GUY's spear. And of course the building will explode when Roman wins, I don't know if they want to end the show with a full stadium booing the outcome of the ME. We all know Vince likes him but I think WM Main Event is something he doesn't want to risk escalading... Did you not watch Mania last year? They literally edited the crowd mid-celebration because the boos were deafening. Unless they throw on HHH/Rollins last the main event is going to be a trainwreck. Oldberg/Brock is going to suck again, and Reigns/Taker is a catch 22. Yes I know. That's why I think they don't want to have it happen again. Bray/Orton will gather a good reaction but is in no way worthy of going on last.

To me, Wyatt-Orton should main event. I have no doubt that is going to be a good match. Ending with Bray holding up the title would be an amazing visual. I have a feeling they are going to reunite Rowan, Harper and Bray at Mania to help Wyatt retain. Imagine the faction running roughshod on Smackdown, get Gallows and Anderson there somehow and have a long Spring/Summer feud of the Bullet Club/Wyatt Family. That feud would be awesome Styles/Wyatt over the WWE title and Rowan/Harper v. Good Brothers for the tag titles. That would be off the chain. If only they still had Strowman and they added Finn to the Club, they could literally have a faction war through all major titles.

Enzo and Cass win the tag titles at Mania, Good Brothers drafted to Smackdown. The band is back together. I love it, honestly. The only problem I do have with this is that I really want to see Finn vs AJ. I also think it seems likely that AJ Styles is getting drafted to Raw after Mania. He probably can't beat up the GM of Smackdown and then be expected to go back to that roster, kayfabe speaking. I hope not though. WWE needs more stables in general. That's one thing that really works for NJPW, and we saw work endlessly in the past. People group together in real life. It makes sense that they would stable up in wrestling. I'd like to see way more of it.

I'm resigned to the fact that Lesnar/Goldberg more or less has to main event. There are too many questions surrounding the other matches.
Reigns/Taker could end up being a trainwreck depending on Taker's health, and ending with a babyface Roman Reigns going over two years in a row is just asking for the crowd to revolt.
Ending with Orton/Wyatt would probably lead to a lot of people leaving, or just sitting on their hands. At that point, we're 5+ hours into the show. Randy Orton is going to just enough to make sure you can't say the match was horrible, just like he always does. This is a mid-card feud and mid-card match, at best. The only argument for putting this on last is the idea that Orton will get a babyface reaction when he wins the title to close the show, and I don't think that's at all a given. The Wrestlemania crowd is far more likely going to be pulling for Bray Wyatt.
Lesnar/Goldberg is the biggest match on the card, and really, it's not even close. If it's terrible, it'll be over before people have a chance to hijack it.
I suspect they'll put on a crowd pleaser in the second to last match - like Jericho/Owens, give them a bunch of time to hopefully blow the roof off the place, and then carry that momentum into the 2-3 minute Lesnar squash.

-- The psychology behind a lot of WWE's booking as of late, has been so short term, their writers don't even consider the big picture for their angles and stars (especially with each title situation since Royal Rumble, geez). WM33 is no where near "ideal" or the level of such, it had the potential to be. But since it's the biggest weekend of the year, I'll be tuning in and watching the performances of each star (which is the only thing I can invest in, at this point... the in-ring performances themselves).
This might be one of those 'Manias where I'm actually looking more forward to RAW After Mania and this year's SDL After Mania - than the actual WrestleMania event itself. Each brand has a chance to really cement something amazing, with Angle in the mix, if the Hardyz wind up back into the fold, and Finn makes his official return, along with maybe a major call up from NXT. The surprises could be awesome!
The only positive I will say about WM33, as far as angles go..... this could be possibly one of the greatest HEEL turns in history, if Roman just destroys UT. The next night on RAW, Kane confronts Roman, Kane gets annihilated (and that's it, the Kane character is retired, just as Glen Jacobs should be at this point)! Roman, as a newly found heel, crumbles both Bros of Destruction in 24hrs. Talk about garnering nuclear heat from the crowd, like it should be (UT could then come back for Survivor Series, for his farewell ceremony). .................. But I don't think that's what we'll get. Instead, we'll get Roman winning cleanly with UT "passing the 'Big Dog' bone" to Roman, and a happy go lucky ending to their match, with nothing really accomplished than a wasted opportunity of this possibly being UT's final WM (sure, goosebump city will occur after the match, with the 5min smoke effects, ect - but I would trade that all day, for a Roman heel turn!)
That, and a small guy needs to win the Andre The Giant memorial battle royal, this year. Everyone is expecting a big guy to win it, but imagine the possibility if say someone like "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher or even Tyler Bate, wound up winning it...!

I don't understand the WWE Network at all. That programming could be a lot more exciting. And why the hell are you broadcasting a interview w/ someone that's returning to your brand for the first time in over a decade at ing midnight?

For having their own TV Network, they could at least have A LOT more stuff for this week going into Wrestlemania. Each day could have new stuff for us to see. Sit down interviews, classic Wrestlemania matches on the old Throwback Thursday they used to do would have been nice, and maybe even a 2 hour show of the Hall of Fame class in classic matches.
As great as the WWE Network is, it fails just as great at the same time.

I read that the CFO and I keep forgetting her title, but Michelle Wilson are running it. They can't keep anyone consistently in charge of it. I could do a million times better at the job with that library. And then they give the excuse of more people prefer to watch at their leisure via on-demand. That's true, however, give me a reason to watch. When the network launched and they had programming with the Monday night war stuff and the WrestleMania rewind stuff, I made time to watch it live.

Doesn't Wrestlemania start at 7 EST? I'm almost positive it does. Locally, in central time and all the four-hour PPV's start at 6 PM and I'm an hour behind EST.

Doesn't Wrestlemania start at 7 EST? It does. All the "C"s in the WWE.com article should be "E"s. I'll have them correct it asap.

I can't wait to see the stage for this show. You guys remember in 2013 when Vince made that video for YouTube or Facebook showing off the stage like two or three days before Mania 29? I don't remember them doing that after that but I kind of want to walk into the stadium and be surprised with it.
