While it might not be everyone's favourite mania it will be a good one for me as it's the first one im going to see live. Been watching since 89 and never had chance to go to the states for mania until now. While I know it won't be the same as hogan v Macho I'm super pumped to go! Jericho with a good programme, Super talented roster and I never saw Goldberg in his wcw prime but I will now and that good enough for me! Oh and as I'm going an appearance by the rock and/or hogan would be awesome too

While I very much dislike the way the card is shaping up, they really are putting their best foot forward in building the card they want, which is far more than I can say about some previous years. It appears as though almost everything that's going to make the card is going to have some solid build behind it, save maybe AJ/Shane and Roman/Taker, and there's still a month to go for both of those matches.
Last year was a disaster of a card and a disaster of a build. This year's card may be lackluster, but at least the build will have been really solid.

The Wyatt angle has been going on for ages and it will finally culminate at WM for example. I don't like when they throw in a few big matches just 2 weeks before Mania, it's the biggest show of the year and it's the one with the longest time before the PPV to build it up. Last year they weren't lucky at all with all the people missing... And eventhough the Legends stuff at Mania kinda suits since it's the biggest show of the year and people buy expensive tickets, I think these segments take up FAR too much time. Why on earth do we need to see the Rock with a flame thrower?? I mean, come on...

Injuries aside, I thought last year's Mania was a complete and total disaster in terms of build, execution, and match quality. It was hotshot after hotshot and it felt like six hours of Vince McMahon hitting the panic button. At the time, I thought it was tied with 29 for the worst Wrestlemania I'd watched live since becoming a fan (which, for me, means 15 onward), but in hindsight, I think it may actually be the the worst. I'm going this year, so I'm doing my absolute best to stay positive, but I feel fairly comfortable in assuming, if nothing else, it will surpass last year's show in just about every way.

I think you're going to have a great time at Mania anyway, but I hope Vince will not do the same thing this year...

I assume they mean Nakamura. Still don't buy it.

Nakamura is undoubtedly a better option than Shane, but I still don't see it.
The Roode/Ohno match was already taped, so that's not the Takeover match. I swear Roode/Nakamura was scheduled for the UCF taping, but they didn't do it, so I guess that's probably the match they're going to do.

Hopefully it's true. I think Shane and AJ have the potential to put on a good match, but they know they need something big and after Nakamura's match with Styles at Wrestle Kingdom last year it's a safe option.

The Takeover booking has been so sloppy, they should serve it with a bib. I'm going to this as my first NXT event, so I'm hoping for the best. I just don't get how they can build a card with the content they taped last week. Makes no sense.

That's a big weekend for Shinsuke. Fighting for the title Saturday. Against AJ at his first Mania.

Anyone buying in to these rumors? I don't know what to think. I guess we'll get an idea Tuesday

I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but if it ends up being AJ/Nakamura at Mania, I am going to be over the moon happy.

I find it extremely unlikely. But hey, if it happens, it'll be a nice surprise.

It wouldn't really make sense for Shinsuke to just appear on SD and challenge AJ. AJ hasn't gotten his one on one rematch either.

After reading Cena's interview with Sports Illustrated, I'm starting to get the sense for why he's been relegated to this tag team match. The guy seems completely checked out.

Non stop for over 10 years. Only time he gets off is if he is injured, and even then he's making appearances, radio, etc...

I'm still holding onto hope for a heel run. With a part time schedule, it would work out great. He would be like a main attraction that you don't get to see all the time. I get why WWE didn't want to turn him heel while he was full time (merchandise sales and what not). But now that he's being transitioned away from the main face role of the WWE, it may be possible. To this day, his original Thuganomics heel run (circa 2003) is my favorite of his.
