The actress playing AJ Lee is Thea Trinadad aka Rosita from TNA aka Austin Aries fiancee...last I knew. How can WWE not hire her already? She's super talented, been a freaking Rose Bud, and is set to marry TGMTEL thereby making her TGWTEL.

Wonder if Rock knows he was one of the reasons Punk was frustrated in the first place? I too am torn on Punk & the WWE. I love watching Punk wrestle, so I want him to return. But if he's going to complain the whole time, he'd be better off staying away. Sometimes it's just a case of oil and water. This also proves Rock does what Rock wants. Cause had they known, I'm not sure they would have green lit this. This reminds me of the time he was in Miami and went off script to talk to the guys dressed as WWF Superstars such as Hogan, Savage, Taker and I believe Warrior?

He pushed a Doctor to the ground during his and Takers hiac match and no punishment was carried out.

Additional credit to Triple H, Cena, Nash, Mcmahon and Laurinaitis where applies.

Thea Trinidad as AJ Lee is the most interesting thing about this movie.

I'm shocked they are going through with this movie.
WWE and Paige are on HORRIBLE terms, she's going to marry Alberto Del Rio, she failed the wellness test, AND due to a neck injury she will probably never wrestle for WWE again.
Add that to the fact that they have an actress portraying AJ Lee in the movie, who quit the company, who's married to CM Punk, who is on the worst terms possible with WWE....
And honestly....who the hell wants to watch a movie about the life of Paige? She's 24 years old and not really accomplished much in WWE. And her family is the British version of white trash.
And what's crazier is that THE ROCK is wasting his time on this?
Is this real life? I don't even know how to process this.....

WWE bosses Triple H and Vince McMahon were not happy with the Punk part of Rock's segment, according to PWInsider. The segment was not something WWE came up with or even approved. This was described as something Rock did "in the moment" for the crowd. It was also noted that it was clear to anyone near Vince and Triple H, especially Triple H, that they did not want this going on. Word was eventually sent from the back that Rock needed to wrap it up.

Maybe this is all part of an elaborate prank.

All these years later and he's still more over than any other Superstar they've pushed since he left, with the one obvious exception being Daniel Bryan.

Is this movie called "the self destruction of Paige"?

Crazy that an actress playing Paige shows up to the WWE more than the real Paige.

After rewatching those AJ/Paige film clips, I am really excited for this film, and I can't wait! I'm shocked they are going through with this movie. WWE and Paige are on HORRIBLE terms, she's going to marry Alberto Del Rio, she failed the wellness test, AND due to a neck injury she will probably never wrestle for WWE again. And what's crazier is that THE ROCK is wasting his time on this? Is this real life? I don't even know how to process this..... I've got an honest question here for you. Do you actually have contact with either WWE higher-ups or people close to Paige? Because if you don't, then I'd respectfully suggest not trying to claim how things "are" between WWE and Paige. For all you know, WWE and Paige could be on decent terms, having already discussed and booked her return. Nobody knows for sure apart from Paige herself and the WWE higher-ups. Speculation based on what you've read on social media and dirtsheets does not count as fact, and definitely shouldn't be. I wouldn't say that CM Punk is on the worst terms possible with WWE. I'd say that for a decade Ultimate Warrior was on far worse terms with WWE (as was publicly known), yet we saw Warrior eventually welcomed back with open arms. It just takes time. Punk will eventually come back to the WWE and end up in the Hall of Fame someday. Everyone comes back in time. I for one do want to watch this film. Despite being young, Paige has had a unique life, and could easily be dramatised into a film, as it is being done. The Rock is clearly passionate about this project, so he's definitely not "wasting his time on this", despite your personal opinion on it. Just because YOU don't want to watch it does not mean that anyone is "wasting their time". I tried to make this post as respectful as I possibly could. Speaking generally rather than on this particular situation, the vast quantity of smarks trying to claim that they know exactly how things are for someone they don't actually know personally at all is extremely laughable at best.
