Fun stuff! I wasn't expecting the movie to be so close to the real events, I'd read that it was just loosely based on Paige's story rather than being Paige's story. Cool that it's getting underway already, I thought Cersei would still be shooting Game of Thrones right now.

Wonder if Rock knows he was one of the reasons Punk was frustrated in the first place? I too am torn on Punk & the WWE. I love watching Punk wrestle, so I want him to return. But if he's going to complain the whole time, he'd be better off staying away. Sometimes it's just a case of oil and water. This also proves Rock does what Rock wants. Cause had they known, I'm not sure they would have green lit this. Not necessarily. His problem was with Rock and other part timers getting better spots on the card and getting put over. At the end of the day, that is WWE's decision, which has bit them on the ass given the lack of stars created in recent years.

From the pictures I've seen it looks to be bad. AJ Lee's look isn't even accurate. I have no hype towards this project.

Is it just me, or is Punk getting less distanced from WWE? Between tweeting Hawkins and Ryder, to responding to what Rock said on RAW, it just seems weird to me. I'm probably just reading to much into it though.

Claims someone can't speak on behalf of someone they don't personally know... ... Speaks on behalf of someone he doesn't personally know. 🙄 Who am I speaking on behalf of? Nobody. If you're referring to my suggestion that Paige and WWE might be on decent terms, it was merely that: a suggestion. Not presented as fact. If you're instead referring to my claim that Warrior and WWE were on bad terms, that's something that was publicly known. WWE of course released the infamous DVD in which they attempted to devalue and undermine the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior was publicly known to have been upset by the DVD, even at conventions telling the staff that he would not sign any copies of the DVD. Commentators would also purposely undermine Ultimate Warrior on WWE broadcasts, with Michael Cole claiming at Night of Champions 2007 that "Slaughter mopped the floor with the Ultimate Warrior [at Royal Rumble 1991]". Warrior and WWE being on bad terms was definitively known as fact. On the other hand if you're referring to my claim that Punk is not on as bad terms with WWE as Warrior was, I'd suggest comparing it with the above paragraph on Warrior. WWE have not yet produced "The Self-Destruction of CM Punk". They have not done anything compared to what they did with Warrior, so it's pretty certain that the relationship can't be as bad. I also specifically said "I don't think", again not presenting it as fact. I just don't see your point having any validity. I only present things as fact when they are known to be facts. I don't try to present speculation as fact, as so many other people do. There is absolutely no hypocrisy here, as your unnecessarily sarcastic reply incorrectly implied. I have no problem with people speculating on behalf of someone they don't personally know. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's when people try to present speculation as fact, especially when it's about someone they don't know personally, that I have a problem with.

I'm shocked they are going through with this movie. WWE and Paige are on HORRIBLE terms, she's going to marry Alberto Del Rio, she failed the wellness test, AND due to a neck injury she will probably never wrestle for WWE again. Add that to the fact that they have an actress portraying AJ Lee in the movie, who quit the company, who's married to CM Punk, who is on the worst terms possible with WWE.... And honestly....who the hell wants to watch a movie about the life of Paige? She's 24 years old and not really accomplished much in WWE. And her family is the British version of white trash. And what's crazier is that THE ROCK is wasting his time on this? Is this real life? I don't even know how to process this..... Agreed 1000%

No offence but have you got actual proof that Paige and the WWE are on horrible terms? Also I watched the Channel 4 documentry on Paige and her family and I honestly believe that it would make a pretty interesting film. Yes she's 24 but has wrestled from she was a kid and has had a long journey to the WWE. Most WWE films are trash but for the first time ever I actually have hopes for this one.

If Punk does return, keep him on SDL. If he's on the same show as Reigns Brock and Goldberg he'll throw another tantrum.
