I wondered since he has had short hair for years including his WWE run after WCW folded.

A WWE DDP would be alright I guess but not really a huge want for me. I am fine with the DDP figures we got.

I personally don't care for his short hair, if they release one fine but I really hope it's after we get a jeans DDP. I'm with the Assasin on this one and would actually love a serious pissed off DDP headscan without that weird hair strand the pervious ones had or a teeth gritting scan like his old WCW figure. It would be awesome if it had a new jeans/boot mold, removable diamond shirt, rubber rib cage tape and a vest.

I only want a serious DDP sculpt because The Assassin has wanted it for like 10 years or longer.

I think they will. But I wouldn't foresee it being the next Elite. If anything, I bet we get a Elite counterpart to that recent basic first.

It doesn't matter to me. I have a moc DDP Legends figure & that's all I need.

I want as many DDP figures as we can get. WCW or WWE, I'd even like a current DDP at some point.

I'd rather have a 1992 WCW DDP.

I'd love it as it's how I remember him most being always a WWF/E guy but I'm not sure it's his iconic look.

The most important thing to me is that we get a DDP with a serious, intense looking headscan, because that's the only expression I feel is appropriate to represent the serious, intense attitude of the DDP character I grew up watching in WCW and was such a huge fan of. And I don't care if he smiled in a few promo photos or in his WWE career, smiling does not at all work for the character he had for the majority of his career in WCW, and the character I remember so clearly. Nor does shouting, or even snarling really. As long as we get the serious, intense looking headscan, and it's a decent likeness (though it should go without saying, this is also of vital importance), I'll be satisfied, even if it's short haired or not in the attire I want. However, that said, I still strongly feel that the most iconic look Mattel should choose and most deserves to be made next (though I would welcome many more looks being made afterwards), is his blue-diamond and jeans attire, circa 1998 (with the serious headscan too of course). AKA the Toybiz Smash N Slam figure attire. It's one of his top defining attires and would sell better than any other DDP in my opinion. A classic US title accessory would be the icing on the cake, but sadly Mattel have made it pretty clear they aren't interested in working out a licensing deal with the belt copyright holders, so I guess that's just a fantasy for now. Would also be cool to get Kimberly someday, if Mattel can figure out a way to make more obscure characters in a way that makes sense financially and in line with lesser demand.

We've had 2 Elites and a Basic... I think that's probably it for DDP (unfortunately). I'd definitely buy a short-haired version though.

I don't care for it, but a Positively Page/Christian Cage Battle Pack would be pretty darn cool. A Jersey Triad TNF 3 Pack could be pretty good too, with Bam Bam in gray, and Kanyon in blue, or perhaps the Slamboree 2000 main event of Jarrett/DDP/Arquette, but I'm confident that'll never happen.

Short-haired DDP? Sure, but I don't think Mattel nailed the WCW versions yet. I do want the figure, but of the ones released none interest me. Hopefully with this HOF induction we'll see more variety in the future. And depending on the scan, a "Positively Page" WWE era fig would be hilarious for the shelf.

One of the reasons I hope the HOF series continue is so they can either do perma rib injury DDP or Jersey Triad/WCW champion DDP and no one can complain it's taking a spot from someone.
