Who the hell is Frank Lynn?
If you're a casual viewer of WFWF television like myself, that's probably the question you were asking yourself going into this week's television broadcast. I mean, who the hell IS Frank Lynn? I got a notification on my phone that he said something about me, and people were tweeting to me all week that this guy was "for real" but when I turned on the show, all I saw was another guy getting ripped apart by Ante Whitner. So the question remains, who the hell is Frank Lynn?
Frank Lynn is just a guy. That's what he is. He's just a guy. Not a top ten guy. Not on the level of a Dex or a Hugh Jass, just a guy. And that's the problem with a majority of the WFWF today, there's a lot of "just a guy" and no one standing out. There's not really anyone that makes me sit back and salivate and say "wow, I need to knock that guy down a peg or two, show him what boy ate the cabbage" because the fact is, most are already down several pegs already. Then when someone comes along who IS on a higher level, an Ante Whitner, for example, they're thrown into the box with the conformists and regulars of the WFWF. They're made to play by the rules. But the rules don't work for everyone. Josh Dean seen what happens when you smack the dog on the nose.
Ante Whitner, the golden opportunity champion. Still the golden opportunity champion, because THE BRINGER OF WAR, just a guy Frank Lynn didn't take it away. As I knew he wouldn't. What a punishment laid down by the WFWF management, Ante, you killed Josh Dean and crippled him forever, you have to face FRANK LYNN! Thank God Frankie boy wasn't around when I permanently disabled Hutton Brown and sent Raider to the retirement home for good, I don't know how I would've survived the inevitable two out of three falls match I would've been put in with him as punishment for those sins!
When doing my research before last week's program, I genuinely had to double check and make sure I hadn't previously injured Frank Lynn. See, he's such "just a guy" that my mind lapsed and I genuinely was unsure if I had temporarily put him out of action a few years ago or not. I was thinking of some other forgettable, historically insignificant piece of WFWF history though. You know, the Eric Adams type. Remember when Tommy Staxx fell off a cage during the Psycho Circus? Can you name another significant career moment for Tommy Staxx? There's alphas and there's betas in the WFWF. The alphas chew up and spit out the betas. And last week on WFWF television, that's exactly what happened.
Ante, next time you beat up someone insignificant, do so in a way that they become significant. Beat them so bad that they're permanently associated with you. Use them as a THREAT. "I'm going to BenJa Hart you" should have the same ring to it as "I'm going to Frank Lynn you" and unfortunately, that's what sets you and I apart, Ante.
Because I'm Phillip Schneider and you're not.
