ok so now i think its going to be Orton/Harper vs Rowan/Wyatt It's pretty clearly Orton/Wyatt for the title. That's been the plan all along, and tonight more or less removed any shred of remaining doubt.

I don't see why they wouldn't just do the triple threat? You have a broken family where all the members hate each other. Are we just to believe that Harper will move on without getting any revenge on Orton or Wyatt?

Overall Smackdown was great tonight(as usual). Everything from start to finsh was good, with the last segment being the cherry on top.

ok so now i think its going to be Orton/Harper vs Rowan/Wyatt Orton will probably face AJ Styles for the shot at 'Mania. That or he will just be removed because Orton was the Rumble winner, thus having AJ be pissed at Shane McMahon and them having a match. Luke Harper is just out of this main event match for good. If anything, he goes back with Bray.

Harper really isn't at a level of being a credible challenger for the World Title, especially at Wrestlemania, but I'd take him in the match simply because I think Orton vs. Wyatt is going to be an absolute snooze fest that does their feud no justice whatsoever. This feels like Orton/Triple H from Mania 25 all over again to me.

I agree that Harper hasn't been built up to be a world title contender, but that could have easily been changed in a month with the right booking. Fan wise, he proved tonight that he can play to the crowd and get them into him as a face. The crowd loved him. Credibility wise, give him the win over Styles and he's a made man. Or have him beat Orton at Elimination Chamber. Make it look like he's always been a legit title contender but has been held back by Bray.

Even then, I'm not sure he'd be at that level, but then again, neither was Bray. Really, though, I'd take virtually anything that isn't a one on one Orton/Wyatt match. Orton has been phoning it in for years and every single one of his programs wind up being huge disappointments. This whole thing is bound to be a mess because you can tell the crowd knows there's better options and wants them. What's even worse is that they teased Harper heavily and now they're teasing Styles. They're dangling carrots they have no intention of dropping, and it's going to backfire. Nearly every major match at Wrestlemania is going to be miscast and the crowd is going to be booing baby faces all night. To me, this was the most disheartening night on the road to Mania thus far. They teased a lot of what fans want to see, but delivered none of it, and also cast the ink on a lot of worst case scenarios.

I honestly think Bray will be made to look weak from now until Mania only to beat Orton and retain the title.
That's the best case scenario here.

Talking Smack made even more of a mess of things.
Heels are speaking too much truth right now, and it's going to backfire so hard.
AJ Styles, a supposed heel, was denied his one on one rematch clause for the Championship, won a #1 contenders match fairly, and still isn't going to get a title match. A babyface authority figure has absolutely no reason to prevent him from being in the title match, and doing so is a huge heel move. Either they're incredibly stupid, or they're intentionally trying to sabotage Shane McMahon. Maybe it's both.
That's in addition Randy Orton, supposed babyface, burning another man's property, the spirit of his sister, and reducing said man to tears.
And that doesn't even touch on all the angles doing the same thing on Raw.

Plus with how over Styles is if it isn't intentional the crowd might turn on Shane anyways. Dicey booking.

Really enjoyed the Orton/ Wyatt segment tonight. Best work I've seen Randy do in a while.

This whole thing with AJ is absolutely stupid. Makes no sense in kayfabe to strip a man of a title shot he earned just because the guy who forfeited his shot wants it now. The only thing that'd be fair is to make it a triple threat, but I guess they really want this Orton/Wyatt program

The only thing that'd be fair is to make it a triple threat, but I guess they really want this Orton/Wyatt program The scenario i would want to see is for Shane and Daniel to announce that yes AJ beat Harper last week, so he did earn a shot at Mania, but Orton was the winner of the Rumble, so both men get the title shot, BUT, Shane remembered that AJ mentioned in his interview before the match that its a shame that there wasn't another camera angle of the battle royal, and Shane happened to find another camera angle of the finish of the battle royal, to show that AJs feet touched first, so technically Harper earned the title shot before AJ, so the fair thing to do is to make the World Title match at Mania a 4 way. That way, AJ gets a title shot at Mania, Harper gets involved, and the Wyatt Family stoty continues

This was a pretty big WTF show tonight.
I don't know what's going on. In a way, I like it.
But a lot of it doesn't make sense. And Orton turning on Bray is so predictable, I was never excited about them teaming up in the first place.

Orton ahs been killing this role, not heel/not face but pulls it off super well! They could have made the turn on wyatt more exciting but weird there gonna throw styles in the match. But nice swerve with him winning, somehow itll be a fatal fourway

Randy's turn was both predictable and unpredictable. I didn't know how that could be possible

They put themselves in a bad situation when they had Aj win.
They complicated too much in an attempt to lessen the predictability and missed out on an awesome triple threat for the title.
