This was a rumored match for last year's WrestleMania, and it was rejected by fans for Braun Strowman still being very green in the ring and not ready for a match of that caliber yet. However, Strowman has improved leaps and bounds since then. He's improved tremendously physically, in the ring, and even on the microphone to some degree. Braun has been having matches with the great big men from WWE recently, so why not with one of, if not the greatest big man of all time? He had one of the best big man matches in recent memory against Big Show in the main event of RAW, so putting him against an even more credible opponent like The Undertaker, especially at WrestleMania would give him even more of a chance to shine. I'd really rather see Strowman/Taker than Taker/Reigns. Thoughts?

No. Strowman doesn't seem to have any character to him, and just seems to be generic monster heel #33. Roman Reigns VS Undertaker is a far more interesting matchup, and is one I look forward to seeing. It's such a shame that it'll have the audience hating Reigns even more though.

Actually yes I would. Strowman is one of the best things WWE has going right now, and I would like to see him face Taker way more than I would like to see Taker Vs Reigns.

If they have him go over on Taker then yes. If he's gonna do the job, then no. Strowman needs to beat Reigns this Sunday to continue to build on his momentum as an unstoppable beast. Then a match against Taker at Mania logically seems like the next step in his progression. But he needs to win. I wouldn't hate the idea of a triple threat match between Braun, Roman, and Under. Taker didn't look that great at RR so the other two can do most of the work with him there for a few spots. Reigns gets pinned so you can have Taker or Stroman win and the other will still be protected.

Definitely not.
This may be it for Taker. If it's not, it's damn close. Realistically, Roman Reigns and John Cena are the two biggest options.
I still think Cena was, is, and should be the match-up. Reigns is fine, but he's going to be relied heavily upon to create movement for Taker, and that's not something he's shown much of an ability to do. I'm worried about match quality, but I'd be more worried if Taker were facing Strowman. For all the improvement Braun has made, he's still incredibly green. For all the faults Roman undoubtedly has, he's a professional who has worked with some of the best workers in the world over the past four plus years. I trust him to get a passable match out of Taker more than I trust Strowman at this stage of the game.
Cena was the most intriguing choice. Reigns is the Vince choice. AJ Styles would have probably been the safest in-ring choice, and it would've been really great to get to see him work with Taker. I think they could have had a great match, even with Taker as limited as he appears to be. Strowman just isn't there yet.

I don't like watching out-of-shape/unhealthy dudes wrestle and pretend like I want them to win just because I don't like the other guy either lol. I mean, sometimes I do, when it's for comedic effect.
I don't want to see 'Taker bust his hip during the match or whatever, I'd rather see wrestlers alive and happy, even if that means only as commentators.

I want Strowman to do something interesting at Mania but I don't think it should be against Taker. If Roman beats Strowman at Fastlane then it will technically be in an effort to build a Taker match. So that counts, right?

While I don't wanna see that, I wanna see Reigns vs Taker even less. Gotta go with the lesser of both evils I guess.

Strowman has worked so hard and deserves some spotlight at Mania but I don't want Taker to lose again and Strowman can't suffer a loss yet so my answer is no.

I still wish we would have gotten Taker vs. Cena for the title and Roman vs Strowman and Wrestlemania instead of Fastline. Oh well.

Strowman has come a long way, and has become one of my favorite things about Raw. That being said I have no desire to see Taker vs. Braun. I also have no desire to see Taker vs. Roman.
Seems to me like they had no idea what to do with the the rumored Cena/Taker WWE title match at Mania, since AJ really deserved to be there, and in typical WWE fashion messed up all three of their current rumored Mania matches.

But where would that leave Roman?
Honestly there's not enough room for everyone to get on the Mania card this year. No matter what they do there are gonna be guys that get shafted. I don't see anyway around it.

I was thinking about this earlier, in fact, and I'd be all for it. As resistant as I am to seeing the huge monster plow through his competition, Braun's been putting in the work and has won me over. I was impressed with his matches against Big Show and Mark Henry, and I've found his jobber squashes to be one of the highlights of Raw since the brand split. If it would be consistent with how well-booked his matches with Henry and Show were, I'd be all for it.

I have no problem with Strowman. But I'd rather see Taker take on Reigns.

No interest. As I've said before, I want to see Undertaker sit out of WrestleMania this year. There's no one who isn't already in the middle of a feud that I want to see Taker waste his time feuding with. He only has a small number of matches left, and they shouldn't be wasted on Roman or Braun.

Love Braun, but I'm not interested in seeing him lose to an out of shape 50-some year old man
