Seriously.
Did anybody check it out yet?
It's a masterpiece. I'd easily rank it as the best X-Men film to date; and in my top 5 Superhero films overall.
It's Marvel's "The Dark Knight" far and away.
Everybody is pitch perfect, every single performance is incredibly layered and nuanced. The movie's tone is the perfect balance of humor and drama and action.I literally could heap praise on this movie all day. It feels equal parts western, noir, action, comic book film... and it all just works together.
The perfect send off to the PERFECT Wolverine. Thank you Hugh Jackman for an incredible run. 17 years of kicking ass.

I saw it last night and I'm in love. I fully believe it's the best superhero movie ever. Every time something bad happened, I was like "No, please let them just be happy and get a good feeling." I have never felt such a wide range of emotions, this movie was fantastic. This was a beautiful send off

Fantastic but not quite masterpiece. The middle act drags in a few places, and the overall pacing isn't the best. But other than that it is very, very good.
9/10

I don't consider TDK to be any kind of benchmark to be honest. Its a great movie but like all of Nolans work? Chronically overrated.
Now onto Logan-I really enjoyed it and yes it packed a great emotional wallop. The Reavers & Pierce were great villainy. It helps that I was a huge fan of theirs from the comics(Fitzroy slaughtering them is still one of my most shocking pre teen memories reading comics). Holbrook was a highlight for me as Pierce as was Merchant as Caliban. X-23 was done really really well.
Its a high ranker for me too....I will have to absorb it a few more times on DVD. It also seems that it happens in the far flung future of the McEvoy timeline because the Apocalypse post credit scene is directly related.

It was a great movie. The people around me where crying. I didn't want it to end. And the final scene was amazing.

I was honestly never a huge fan of the X-Men franchise until I saw this film. It dethroned Avengers as my favorite super hero movie.

I just got back from seeing it. It really was perfect, I think. The R rating helped it so much, imo. It might beat out Iron Man and The Dark Knight as my favorite super hero movie ever.

Head and shoulders above any of Fox's other superhero films. It had a totally different tone but I'm so glad Deadpool did so well as a mature movie It's definitely made them less hesitant to push the boat with Logan in my eyes and the result was a gritty and incredibly story driven film that dealt with issues we all face but obviously in a more over the top way.

As much as I liked it, it also doesn't compare with its source story, Old Man Logan. That being said, it was the perfect way to send off Jackman and likely Stewart. They each gave sublime performances, and the story was very emotional. I wouldn't be shocked to see 2017 with Logan as the year's best reviewed film.

I think the hype is propelling it currently.. I liked it for what it was but in no way did I love it. In no way is this a perfect movie like many people are claiming it to be. It had many issues that people are choosing not to talk about due to the fact that it's the violent R rated Wolverine movie everyone has been wanting for 17 years.
Hugh Jackman did fantastic as Wolverine, as always.. Boyd Holbrook did a phenomenal job like Joker stated above.. He really brought emotion and presence to an otherwise forgettable villain.. Charles Xavier served no real purpose for the plot, but was played well by Patrick Stewart.
But the little girl that played X-23 did a phenomenal job.. If you told me she was Hugh Jackman's daughter I would have believed you.. One of the best casting choices I've ever seen. From her blood curling battle cry to her facial expressions. They nailed it with her.
I think it was solid for what it was, good but not great.. Really depressing.

I saw it Thursday night and can't get over how good it was. It was a great cinematic send off for my favorite character of all time in the Marvel Universe.

That's so funny that I'm reading this because I just read ANOTHER report where Stewart said he may have spoke to soon and is up for bringing the character back in Deadpool 2.. I'm guessing ole Patty found out something about the Deadpool 2 story. Let's not forget here that money talks.. Deadpool is one of the hottest properties in all of Hollywood right now so I personally wouldn't be shocked to see Patrick Stewart AND Hugh Jackman show up for Deadpool if the price is right.

Definitely top 3 Marvel movies for me, I swear Fox can produce such great movies if they try. Logan and Days of Future Past are two of their best films for me. Also the one reason why I do enjoy Fox X-Men films is because the story is always serious and depressing, the X-men have been through quite a lot as oppose to the Avengers.

I loved it. It may be the best comic related film yet, which is saying something. Just a fantastic movie.
