I know it's a scripted reality show with fabricated storylines and the divas are basically playing characters, but seeing the way some of them behave has really turned me off of anything having to do with them. I was against the idea of this show from the very beginning as I thought it was really dumb that the women would have more developed personalities on E! than they actually did on WWE TV, but in the last year or so they have done a decent job developing their wrestling personas so I lightened up on it and watched a few episodes. I wish I hadn't.
Alicia Fox is a vile, annoying and absolutely unlikable person. I used to respect her in ring ability but after listening to her voice and seeing what a hateful, insecure c**t she can be I would be perfectly fine with her being released today.
Similarly, Brie Bella comes off as someone who thinks very highly of herself without having anything but the fact that she is a Bella Twin to back it up. She sucks in the ring, piggybacked off of Daniel Bryan and Nikki Bellas in ring strides, and I just can't believe that this show, showing her in this light, made her MORE popular with people. Her personality sucks.
Everyone else is about what I expected them to be, I was just very taken aback by these two. I hope Sasha Banks is never a part of it because I like her a lot and I wouldn't want to see the true depth of her arrogance.....it's better when its strictly kayfabe.

All about those ratings m8 so they have to make their personalities seem bigger than they are or else nobody will watch. Real reality tv would be seeing someone sitting on the couch watching TV while eating wings but nobody is gonna watch that lol. They wanna see these girls acting like botches with fake ass drama.
The first season actually seemed very genuine and was interesting seeing the actual lives of the Divas and Eva and JoJo trying to become ones but then it went downhill and became a scripted fake mess

You are not alone there. The more I watch the show, the more I hate the women on there. That show only has 2 storylines
1) Divas arguing with their boyfriend/husband
2) Divas arguing with each other

yeah I watched the first couple of seasons but I can't stand it anymore. I more so liked it for the fact that it was a chance to see behind the scenes stuff to an extent.

it's reality television - made for the lowest denominator of intelligence in tv viewers. stay away from it with a 10 foot pole.

That show has completely soured me on Natalya. And maybe it's just me, but I think she's gotten very stale in the ring since the show started. Either that or having capable talent like Sasha, Becky, Bayley, Charlotte, and Alexa have exposed her.

The only real likable people on the show are the male wrestlers like Ambrose, Cena, Rusev, Bryan and especially the Usos who are hilarious. I stopped watching the season before Ambrose was officially on.

The first season shows Nikki for what she truly is. A money grabbing so-and-so. Funny, as her current day character is little miss 'I'm with him for love'.

I watched maybe like 5-6 episodes since it originally started, and from what I've seen, Eva Marie, Natalya, Alicia Fox, and the Bella Twins especially seem to come off as super entitled and bitchy.

I enjoy the Total Divas/Total Bellas shows, but mostly for the interaction with spouses. Last season was great with Rusev, Dean and Miz. Bryan and Cena have always been fun to watch. I skip a lot of the drawn out drama. I dont care about Naomi being nervous for a movie role or Nikki and Brie arguing over wine...

Yea Nattie seems to think she is entitled to a bunch cause shes part of the Hart dynasty. I also couldnt stand the Bellas talking about their "brand" and half assed trying to get other things off the ground. My favorite part was I think when Tamina got into a fight with some dude outside a club? Also Renee seems like the nicest out of them all. |

I watched it regularly until Total Bellas then this past season of Total Divas.
I used to like it, but it got repetitive. A lot of the same story lines constantly. One of the dumbest story lines was the one of Brie and Daniel looking to get jobs because of Daniel not wrestling anymore. Because he just didn't earn a million dollars from his Wrestlemania main event win over Orton and Batista.... riiiight.

Dean Ambrose was brilliant on the mid season finale that was on last month. Handsome Rusev as well.
