I kinda like the idea of Hogan ending the Streak.

Nobody. As we've seen over the past several years, ending the streak wound up doing nothing for Brock Lesnar in the long run that he wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.

Those guys never even faced him at Wrestlemania.. Randy Orton should have been the one to end if anything.

shinsuke
or even someone like Roode
or kevin owens would've been great. owens is one of the best heels i've ever seen and i think to have him end the streak he'd do it in such a smug bully type of way and it would've been great

The streak never really meant a whole lot to me, so I was fine with it ending, in theory. Hindsight being 20/20, though, I don't think that they got much out of Lesnar being the one to do it. They could have accomplished Brock going on the unstoppable tear he went on without a Wrestlemania victory over Taker being the jumping off point (I wouldn't have had Brock lose to Taker, I just wouldn't have done the match at all.)
Looking back, if it were up to me, I'd have ended it on the night they were sure Taker was finished, to whoever that opponent happened to be - maybe John Cena, maybe a heel Roman Reigns. His Mania appearances haven't meant nearly as much since, and now it feels as though his career is kind of going out with a whimper rather than a bang, especially considering his Wrestlemanias since the streak ended have consisted of a cold Bray Wyatt match, a ridiculous Shane McMahon match, and now the "lesser" of the two money matches that were on the table this year.

If nobody ended it, it would've been amazing. It could have been the amazing feat that no one can accomplish, being undefeated at Wrestlemania with such a large record, but now it's just a streak that was broken.
If I had to end it it would've been to Bray Wyatt.
Also what's the deal with the Hogan gif in all your posts?

I had no problem with the idea of the streak ending, I think everyone goes out on their back and that's just the way it is, but I don't think it should have happened if Taker was still going to continue to wrestle at Mania. WWE wants us to exist in this world where Brock Lesnar is this amazing animal for conquering the streak but they also want us to continue treating the Undertaker like those Mania matches matter the same way they did when the streak was going on. It doesn't work in either case if you ask me.
In reality, Orton at 21 probably should have been the guy that did it. That being said, I'm glad it didn't happen. I don't think you want to lose anything that happened between Mania 24-29 with Taker.
Reigns is the right idea but the wrong guy imo. I couldn't pick a right guy though, and that's why I would largely default to Cena. Heel Punk at 29 would have been fantastic but wasn't going to happen with Taker needing to get redemption for PB. Bray Wyatt would have been a great passing the torch character moment, in a casket match would have been my preference. We obviously saw how that turned out. Cena would have stood as the top threat to beat Taker and I think we would have lived and died on every near fall. We were obviously robbed of that situation, and now I really don't think it matters at all.
So yeah, I don't really care who should've/could've/would've ended the streak because Brock did it and I think it was a piss poor decision, both at the time and in retrospect. Brock squashing Cena at SummerSlam meant more than beating the streak ever did imo. I think my biggest complaint with the streak ending was what a terrible match it ended on. It wasn't this special moment it could have been had HBK or Triple H gone over him. Everyone looked at Brock as this get me to next year opponent for Taker but he won. It was bad. Really bad.

Triple H or Roman. Roman could have benefited so much more than Lesnar having that title. It's obvious he isn't going anywhere anytime soon and a nod from someone like Taker could have elevated him whether you like him or hate him. No doubt a heel run afterwards would cap it off (still think is needed if he wins at WM). Guys like Balor,AJ, and Cena are at the point where there wouldn't be a long term benefit. Romans status or Seth's gives them a chance to build off of it with out worrying about them being gone in a couple years. Buttttttt that's water under the bridge now...

Nobody. It would have been cool to see him go 21 and 0 and then just leave. But if it HAD to end then it should have been Cena. There is no other choice. Cena surpassed Hogan. Rock. Austin, etc as THE face of the WWE. As much as everyone hates him, you know Cena would appreciate it more.

Considering the plan they had, Brock was the man for the job. But in retrospect, knowing they got cold feet on the long-term plan, I'd rather he just kept it. Beat Cena this year and retire.

Nobody should have. Taker could have won this year and retired 25-0.
Taker wanted it to be Kurt Angle to break it, though.

Those guys never even faced him at Wrestlemania.. Randy Orton should have been the one to end if anything. Yup, literally the only person I'd have been happy with. His record wasn't as impressive back then obviously, and Brock ending the streak is still one of the most memorable moments on history but Orton made the most sense.

I remember hearing a rumor that the original plan was for Orton to end it at WM 21 but he declined out of respect for Taker.
I never wanted to see it end, was upset when Lesnar ended it at the time, but now I'm over it. In the long run it meant little and being the one in 23-1 won't mean much if the rumors of Reigns going over are true.

Honestly, I don't think the streak ending is a bad thing now.
For example, a sports team can go undefeated for an entire season and then lose in the first round of the play offs. It happens.
So I think that even in kayfabe standards, Taker losing to Lesnar - which was a big shock - could still be seen as an 'upset' of sorts. Its gonna be the 2nd guy to beat Taker at Mania that really says, "Hey... Taker CAN be beat at Mania, this guy was the 2nd one to do it!"

I actually had a conversation about this with Jim Ross Just days after the streak ended. I think that the streak should have never ended. Didn't change anything. If Brock lost that match, WWE would still build him up as the monster and he would be successful. Taker losing didn't change anything either. He's still the GOAT. However IF someone had to end it I would pick Cena.

Taker should of retired with the streak intact IMO. 20-0 would've been the ideal time.
