WWE released their proxy statement this month, which listed the pay for the McMahon family and WWE executives (h/t to Forbes). In just base pay for 2016, Vince McMahon earned $3.071 million, down from $3.3 million in 2015, while Triple H earned $3.993 million (up from $3.112 million in 2015). WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Office Michelle D. Wilson earned $4.317 million (down from $4.5 million in 2015), WWE Chief Strategy & Financial Officer George A. Barrios earned $4.3 million (down from $4.494 million in 2015) and WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn's salary was $4.637 million (down from $4.758 million in 2015). This does not include bonuses and dividends. Triple H's salary breaks down to $601,933 in base salary, $499,992 in stock awards, $419,531 in non-equity incentives and $2,471,961 for "all other compensation" which would include his pay as an on-screen talent. Vince McMahon's salary breaks down to $1,313,462 in base salary, $1,739,063 in non-equity incentives and $19,075 in other compensation. It also noted that Shane McMahon earned $2.15 million last year for "performance fees and royalties," while Stephanie McMahon's total compensation in 2016 was around $2 million as a performer and employee. source

And to think the Yankees are paying A-Rod about $30 million in 2017 to just stay away.

Forget the McMahons how can you justify Kevin Dunns salary? Those wrestlers put their lives on the line every night and Dunn who sits in a production truck gets double the amount!

So Shane makes as much or more as Stephanie despite being a performer only, while Steph is both a performer and actual behind the scenes? Huh. Guess those two matches really paid Shane O...

Pretty sure most of the roster isn't cracking 1 mil, let alone 2. Dunn probably makes 4-8x as much as non main-event talent

i don't like kevin dunn's supposed outlook on wrestling as much as the next guy...but the guy has been the head producer of the wwf for years and production is the one thing the wwf has always had on point.

People complaining about Dunns salary and not Shane's..... Dunn is an executive at a billion dollar a year company, his salary is in line with what those types of higher ups make. Shane got 2 mil for jumping off HIAC into a crash pad and coming out on TV once a week in new Nikes.

Kevin Dunn is an Internet heel, and Shane is an Internet babyface (although the AJ Styles match seems to be changing that).

My problem is that Dunn is making more than the owner of the company.

My problem is that Dunn is making more than the owner of the company. He is not making more than Vince per year. He makes a higher base salary (not uncommon with high profile CEOs, Warren Buffet only makes $100k a year). Vince owns 75mil shares of the company. The company pays $0.50 a year per stock to the owner, so Vince is also clearing $17mil a year in dividends. This is done because the taxes on dividends is far far less than salaries. Dunn is making probably $2mil after taxes, while Vince keeps around $14mil out of the $17mil made Source: I own WWE stock/invest in the market.

I actually thought about this the other night. Watch any WWF show in 1998 and compare it to any WCW show in 1998. The production value in WWF is lightyears ahead of WCW. I always think of WWE as Disney and WCW (or TNA/ECW/ROH,etc) as Six Flags.....While they both are the same type of thing, one is class and quality while the other is just there.
