Just wondering what everyones spouse thinks of their collection? My wife is quite supportive of it, and actually enjoys the hunt when there are new TNF, HOF or TRU NS. She encouraged me to do the room in the basement full of it figures actually.
The only problem is whenever there is a new Cena out she makes sure I have it because she loves Cena, lol

She doesn't stop me from getting and displaying figures. Hell, she even picks up quite a bit for me when she is out. Although she does wish I didn't buy anymore than 2 of any figure (Sting, Piper, Triple H, Hitman, Flair, Von Erich's, LOD & if they ever make the Steiners or Dynamite Kid she's looking at you guys. lol) But up until WCW closed down she used to watch with me and still to this day she says she knows more about wrestling (and Batman) than she should. lol

She knows I buy doubles on some, sometimes she encourages me and other times she tells me maybe I should stop. She watches wrestling with me and watched it before she met me, so the fact that she knows who everyone is also helps.

My wife did not care for them to much at first. Over time as she seen that I will continue to collect, she has come around. When she is out she will call and ask do you have so and so. I guess it is easy when you are with someone who is willing to learn to like or love the same things you do.

My wife always asks me what figure to look out for when she goes out. She came through for me with some of the TNF figures because I refuse to go to Walmart.
She also supports THE HOTLINE. Reach me at 1900-909 99 HUNDREDDDDDDDDDDDDD

My girlfriend (who I have a house with) doesn't mind the collection itself, and sometimes admires some purchases. Her problem lies in the fact I have 250 figures and we live in a very small terrace house

My wife doesn't care I don't buy a lot for myself MOC and all the loose figures in my house are toys for my son. Once in a while I sell figures for good money so she knows there is some "value" in what I buy (I know you guys hate that word lol). I'm sure she thinks it's a bit weird that I like wrestling. I watch the wwe network sometimes to help me sleep haha. She knows nothing about wwe

I only had one gf give me grief over my collection, but she primarily became bitchy about it when our relationship was already off the rails due to unrelated crap. She decided to give a slight ultimatum over them, and claimed they were a waste of money. Mind you, this was at a time where she owed me thousands of dollars.
So as shes going on, and on, and on, I go to the closet to put away my shoes and stumble upon $200-300+ worth of Yeezy brand clothes she had quietly bought online. Without saying a word, I brought the stuff out, and began presenting them to her with exaggerated hand gestures like some fruity Home Shopping Network salesman. She shut up when I explained how this tiny order of hers was worth as much, or more, than one full shelf of my toys.

Mine is fine with it and occasionally buys me a toy if she's knows what to get. I only started back a month or two back and I have over 50 elite already so she's not sold on it, but knows it's fun and harmless.

My partner wouldn't mind at all if she felt we could afford it, but she doesn't at the moment, so she doesn't like me spending lots of money on figures, so I have to be sneaky! She's going to notice soon though that despite being hard up for cash at the moment my figure collection is going to spill out of the huge bag I have them in..........and it contains lots of recent releases!

I've only been collecting wrestling figures for about a year, but my wife has been pretty supportive. She never watched wrestling, and it's something that I just got back into recently after not watching for 15+ years. So she hasn't been as interested as she is in my primary hobby collecting sports memorabilia, which I've been doing since before we met, versus what seems to her like a sudden interest in wrestling. But she will stop at stores to check for figures and has surprised me with figures a few times when she knew I was looking for somebody that I hadn't found.
She just learned that a few of her roller derby teammates are apparently big wrestling fans, and they invited her to their girls-only Wrestlemania watch party. So I think she's a little more interested now than she had been, and is willing to give it a chance.

I guess in the beginning when I first got back into it (mainly from video games and the network) she had mentioned it to people she knew and coworkers and found out that some of them secretly liked wrestling too. She had a coworker who collected figures too and me and him bought figs for each other once or twice and we exchanged through her (we never met). She loved it, and at the time started looking to buy them too for us haha. She has a new job now and hasn't mentioned anything about the figures in more than a year. I tell her about a figure or two that I sell and how much they sell for and she gives a "pleased" look lol

I dunno.... at times I think my wife is annoyed or feels it's childish. She has never said as much and has even gotten to the point where she gets me some stuff now and then and doesn't mind getting me hauls at Christmas/birthday. I do involve my kids with most of my collecting. So for instance, when I get something, they get something also and they know it's a fun way for us to spend the day without breaking the bank. We go out searching for our most wanted toys and its a good time. She has mentioned that my WWE stuff and batman stuff is cool. I think if she had her way I wouldn't be getting near as much horror stuff.
