What figures are in your collection that you didn't really want but for whatever reason bought anyway and then later were thankful you did? Whether it was something that escalated in value, had parts that were able to be used for someone else, complemented another wrestler that was released later on, or you just grew to love? One of mine would be Legends Pillman. I hated the scan and even on clearance for $5 I hesitated to pick up. But over the years, the scan grew on me. Dudley Boyz and K-Mart exclusive "Live Event Edition" Cena are other figures I am happy that I bought. I was holding out for a Flashback Dudleyz but decided to get the elites since they were on sale extremely cheap around the holiday season and got the Cena a while back solely for the hands. Fixing up the Dudley Boyz wasn't that difficult and now glad I did since it does not appear that we will ever get Flashbacks of them.

RSC Punk for $20 after the flood(not a big Punk fan, but still buy all his figs) and the extra E10 Big Show I bought out of fear that the titles wouldn't be released again.

RSC Jericho. Pre-ordered it and hated it. Did a headswap and added a Y2J shirt now it's one of my favorites.

An extra E10 Big Show, along with several other figures for belts and medium sized knee pads

RSC Bret Hart, Bam Bam after the flood. Those are some great figures considering how high the price went later through the years.
Picked up Legends Hacksaw. I really didn't like the Headscan since it didn't look like him. Then when I picked up Basic Summerslam Hacksaw (American flag face) and did a head swap; now I'm satisfied with the figure. Hoooooooo!

The only "unwanted" figures I'm glad I picked up is the Four Horsemen set. I didn't really "want" it, especially for $50, but with the 50% off sale plus the additional 50% off Cartwheel app discount, I couldn't pass it up.

I'm a RSC flood guy as well...loose Legends 2 pack The Rockers complete, loose Demolition complete, loose Legends Andre, and loose RSC Bret Hart complete. All were in perfect condition without breaking my wallet.

Basic Series 16 Undertaker. My friend got it for me back in 2012 when it first came out. I really didn't like it because at that time I was younger and only wanted newer versions of superstars to play with. And I didn't really recognise that look for the Undertaker back then either. I was actually gonna trade it at some point, but I really appreciate owning it now. The Return of the Deadman is my favourite era of the Undertaker today and the figure is definitely one of my favourites as a result. The head looks awesome on the Elite WM32 Series Undertaker figure.

Elite Legion of Doom Animal. I picked it up at my local Wal Mart to use as a trade with another member here, and then that member never bothered to respond to my private messages. Now, it seems to have appreciated in value, at least according to eBay's prices, so I guess it's good to have around, as it may still be worth a trade someday, but at a better trade value. If nothing else, Animal looks pretty cool, so it wasn't a total waste.

RSC Nash. I picked it up during last year's Black Friday sale on a whim, and it is one of my favorite figures. I didn't realize how much detail there is on the pants until I had it in hand.
Honorable mention would go to DM Razor, DM Hogan, and DM crow Sting. I came across all three at a KMart store closing sale a couple weeks after I had bought my first figures. I was debating whether I wanted to build a collection or just stick with the 3 or 4 figures I had bought to that point. Sticker price was $30, but with the closeout discount I think I paid $12 or $13 each. Those figures were all long gone at any other retail stores by that point, so I'm glad I grabbed them. All three are fantastic figures, imo.

Elite 3 Miz.
At the time I wasn't even 100% all in with collecting Mattel. I was only going to collect my favorite guys and/or really good Elites. Miz was also nearing the end of his run with that horrid gear. not wearing that gear anymore so I had zero intention of buying it. But then I stopped at my local Walmart, they had put out a fresh case of E3...I picked up the HBK and the Christian because to me, those were must-buys. And I spotted the Miz.
I picked it up, and after I really looked at it, I had to buy it. I thought the detail on that figure was amazing (at the time) and there was just something about it that drew me right in.
From there I decided I was gonna collect the entire Elite line mostly because they were the best wrestling figures I had seen. Thanks, Miz.

Flood? Pray tell what that hell that means?
And the RIGHT answer here is E10 Big Show. I'd gladly trade my 6429 Jakks Tag Team titles for a single set of Raw/Smackdown tag titles.
