Yeah, best would be 96' Sting w/ grown out hair. But I have a feeling it will be crow sting. I'm leary of how they're going to piece out and distribute any future sets after how things have gone with series 1. How can you possibly evenly pack a series of 6 guys when they come in a case of 8? Why not do 12 per case and do 2 of each guy so it's even? Is that how Hasbro use to do it? I think they typically had 6 figs in most waves.

They look awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm determined to wait until they're in the shops here in the U.K. I just want to go and pick them up in the store, just like old times... I hope I'm not disappointed!

Sure are dude. I think Toys R Us, Smythe's and The Entertainer passed on stocking them (from what I heard) I got mine from an online store. The two stockists I know of are blocked.com and toysandmasks.com (found them via twitter) Where did you hear that Smyths & TRU aren't gonna be stocking them? It was a post on Mattel Retro twitter a few days back. I can't say for sure the validity of it but as I haven't heard anything to the contrary ...

Yeah a surfer Sting would be awesome...but like you I suspect it'll be the Crow version. It seems like we'll be getting a few modern day superstars mixed with the legends (I'd prefer full sets of legends)

Great photos -- it's awesome to see Warrior and Taker blended in with the Hasbro originals.

Really want to get this new range of Retro figures, but want it to be like the old days and going in to a shop and buying them and not off the internet! I just hope Toys R Us or Asda or somewhere similar in the UK starts selling them soon! I must admit though, I think I would open these and display as the carding looks terrible and so cheap!

I've been thinking of removing them from their bulky packaging as well. After checking three Walmarts and a Toys R Us here, I haven't been able to find Warrior or Undertaker just yet.

Aren't they Wal-Mart exclusive?
Checking Toys R Us stores might be wasted time.

I really want to keep them in their packaging when I get them but I've got to agree, the packaging looks pretty awful. I understand they're trying to keep in with the 'retro' theme but they are a long way off the original colourful cards Hasbro did. Hoping these arrive in my local toy store before the second series comes out...

Awesome pics haha, I especially laughed at the Roman and 'Taker pics.
