Would have been WrestleFest at the arcade. RR for SNES was the first wrestling game I owned.

I may have played an arcade game first, likely WrestleFest or Superstars (or one of the unlicensed late 80s wrestling arcade games)... But the first one I owned and played at home was WrestleMania Challenge. Christmas 1991, was the first game I got with my NES apart from the pack-in Mario and Duck Hunt cart. Loved it. I still love NES packaging and carts.

Can't exactly remember the name but it was a wwf arcade game back in the 80's If it was definitely 80s and definitely WWF then had to have been Superstars. Wrestlefest came out 1991. Wrestlemania after that.

War Zone for the PlayStation in the 1998 with my cousins when I was 6 before I got my own copy. We still played tournaments religiously. Man, people saying the first game they played was HCTP or an SVR game sure makes me feel grown up.

WWF WrestleFest. My dad would take us to the arcade every Thursday night and my brother and I would spend all our quarters on either that of Michael Jacksons Moonwalker. Good times.

I started watching wrestling in late 1995, and I'm pretty sure the first wrestling game I ever played was the arcade version of WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. A very fun game, I wish WWE would re-create that with like 10 of today's stars in WWE using the exact same engine but with today's graphics.

It has to either be Smackdown!, WCW Mayhem, or WWF Raw for Genesis. I can't for the life of me remember since all of that blurs together.

Definitely Wrestlemania on the NES was the first. To me a far superior game from that era was Tecmo World Wrestling.

Wrestle mania challenge on NES. Playing as "yourself" it's funny I don't remember looking like the most generic wrestler alive. Also Andre being unable to get back in the ring is knocked out. Class. If I remember this properly, could he not get back in magically if he was computer controlled? I remember dreading being him against Warrior as there was the risk of being thrown over the ropes! This was my first wrestling game and I was always satisfied with it and accepted it for what it was. Not like now, where I get a game and wish for it to be bigger, better, more accurate and more detailed!
