Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, except those who list Dean Ambrose, you're wrong and lose said privilege... Ambrose is the most overrated in ring performer I have seen in all my 50 years. He over sells worse than Dolph, has a very weak move set with his catfight beatdowns that hit nothing but air and that corny slingshot clothesline. He can cut a good promo, but he has had plenty of bad promos also.

Current: Ambrose
All time: Bret Hart.
Bret is very, very good, but I just think Owen was always better. Just as much talent as Bret but I think he mixed up his stuff more, plus he was way better on the mic than Bret, and had way more charisma

Do you forget last year leading up to WrestleMania? I know I am trying to. But him and Brock had the right in the parking lot where both were hitting nothing but air and apparently Dean got knocked out by the force of the wind from Brock's knees because nothing was connecting...All of the sudden during the show Dean showed up in the stolen ambulance that he supposedly drove to the arena from the hospital. But when he opened the door and stepped out he flopped and staggered all the way down the ramp barely able to stay conscious. That was without a doubt the cheesiest acting job I had ever seen. He seems to do the same thing every time he climbs the corner turnbuckles.

Most overrated of ALL TIME? The Ultimate Warrior aka the Ultimate Borefest. never has anyone EVER been more gassed after an entrance than this guy... not even Goldberg. documentation supporting my argument:

To each their own, but in a world where Charlotte/Sasha are constantly getting dogged on for not selling injuries enough, it's nice to see a worker actually try to convey how beat up they are. Brock is a monster, and Dean was attempting to put him over as such...

Eddy Guererro. Just boring as all hell to me. Didn't deserve the title belt at all. Should have just been a mid-carder. Mick Foley. Calling him a glorified stunt man is an insult to stunt men. Dean Ambrose. He's a flea market version of Stone Cold. Naomi: A big ass doesn't make you a great worker. Warrior. For all the things that have been said and will be said. Seth Rollins. Crappy promos, crappy move set, crappy face, crappy heel. I don't see what the big deal about him is.
and there are plenty more that would get you upset but that's it for now.

There is no way Dean Ambrose is overrated, infact he is underrated and under appreciated by many people.
The guy has worked his ass off since he was a kid to become a wrestler and has performed constantly since his WWE debut in 2012. Even when the Shield split Ambrose was the one who made the biggest impact on the roster and yet all WWE cared about was Reigns.

I wouldnt call Ambrose overrated. He is hardly even in the topic of "good wrestlers" in the first place.

The problem I have with this topic is a lot of people don't explain why so and so is overrated. Some do, most do not. To me, as long as wrestler is over with people and doesn't receive 'x-pac heat' ...cool beans.
On the topic of overselling...The Rock, HBK, and Hogan oversold and to me they're all considered to be among the greats.

This thread should be called "I don't understand why everyone likes this wrestler, because I don't."

May catch some heat for this but I think undertakers wrestling ability and character as a whole is overrated. Never been a fan...

Lol at all the Dean hate. 6 months ago everyone loved him. The guy is above average in the ring. He put on a great match with Hunter last year (which blew the HHH/Regns match away). His matches with AJ were all entertaining, and him and Seth have been blowing he roof off of buildings for years.
Why do people say he's overrated? Because of his match with Brock that we all know was sabotaged by Brock? His match with Ziggler at SS when they barely got any time? Or his asylum match with Y2J where nobody would have made the crap any good?
I'd say of the Shield members last year, Dean by far put on the most memorable matches.

Cena - His matches are simply finisher-spam fests. He is the reason why finishers mean nothing today.
Reigns - He spams the SUPERMAN-PUNCH through this matches. Throw maybe a drive-by kick and a couple of spears in there and that's a typical Reigns match.

Todays fans are nothing but disloyal and they jump on a band wagon and then get bored and move on to the next one. Ambrose has done nothing to warrant any hate so if people has reasons then it's totally undeserved.

I think I replied to this thread before, but I honestly think all three members of the Shield are overrated. Yes even the loveable Dean Ambrose - I like someone above saying he's the poor-man's Steve Austin Dean's mid-rope slingshot closeline is the most foolish move I've ever seen in 35 years of watching wrestling. Seth's too reckless as a performer Roman, a big douche
